No, you're a phony!

Am I now? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) As long as I am not a phoney, it's okay by me.

Yeah, I leave a few mistakes along the way on purpose. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleepysmiley03.gif) That's my mondus operendi.

Besides, all the members here are entitled to a few small and honest mistakes here and there. They happen. In fact, some typos can be quite funny. We are human, after all, and this is the internet, not a TOEFL exam. As long as they don't make the two graves mistakes: type whole posts in ALL CAPS. And in the color pink.

All members except Han and the Pirate, that is.

We are interested in Axel Witsel, a 22 y.o Belgian DM from Standard Liège.

Yeah just read that at another place. Apparently, the guy is good. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Chelsea and United are also after him. Boy, I love how the silly season started already when the original one hasn't even ended yet. One of the benefits of comfortably winning the league early. 22-23 is good age for a DM too.

Some late comments on the stories doing the rounds.

First off it's a bit disappointing that Pirlo's going, or seems to be, but he's given us good service and it just seems he doesn't fit with Allegri. And given Allegri has delivered our first Scudetto in 8 years, I am going to trust him on this one.

Edit: latest is he may be staying...

Secondly, I'd hate it beyond words if we bring back that lying toerag Kaka. Not only are his morals in the gutter, and he an injury prone gimp, but he's absolutely rubbish now anyway. I don't know if I'd be able to support him in our colours.

He's been pretty good of late. I'd welcome him back anyways, the hate he gets is ridiculous. ou Scots are such bitter people. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

The "barely seen him play" argument doesn't work. He played more games than Markie V. Its more like, barely seen him play recently.

Its pretty obvious to me but I am thinking with my head here, not my heart. My heart says to re-sign him and give him a huge bonus and a throne to sit on.

I meant barely seen him play in the new system, when Pirlo was fit Allegri was putting in a new formation and line-up every week. Having said that, when he was playing left side of midfield before he was injured, Milan probaby played their best football, a lot of 3-0 results. At the start of the season, when he was played in front of the defense, yes it was a mistake, and I whole-heartedly agree with you and chu that he cannot play there because he compromises out defensive stability, but for the left midfield slot he's sill top notch, our best player against Palermo imo by far before Ibra came on.

My heart does not tell me to give him a bonus, Pirlo is a reasonable man and a very good source tells me his family is one of the wealthiest in Brescia, he's not going around hungry I can assure you that. Personally I think the issue is more about the length rather then the money.

Show me one 3-0 result where pirlo started and finished on the left.

+1. Danny, if you dislike Kaka, it's completely fine. but let's face it, no one's gonna believe you when you say he's absolutely rubbish. so why bother revealing it on here? keep it to yourself.

IMO, Kaka is not world class anymore but he's still very good especially now that his injury is past. do I want him back? absolutely not!

These stats defend my point I made earlier that our best attack is a two man attack and that Robinho-Ibrahimovic attacking duo impressed me the most, with Boateng as AM.

Nay I didn't say start and finish...I said start and finish on the LEFT. He played CDM in the first game and Left in the second. So I'll concede the one game, but if thats the only leg you can stand on it ain't much to argue with.

What a goal that was (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) it's interesting because it's not an absolute rocket (speed-wise) and it's taken from a very long distance, but no matter how hard the keeper tries he can't get it. I love how the ball flies toward the top corner of the goal. thanks for reminding us of this beauty!
