I'd take him without a 2nd thought, that being said, not in the expense of Pato. If we lose Pato now, we'll regret it in 4 years time I'm 100% sure of this

No, I agree with you. Balotelli for Pato? Never. Either the both of them, or only Pato.

Hehe, I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Balotelli in 2-3 years time. The guy is pure class, he just doesn't want to show it yet.

Oh really, really?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) What's holding him back? I have watched both players for some time now, and I have no doubt that Pato's gonna be the bigger player of the two - by a country mile. Balo's problems are mental, and unless he can get a hold of them, he is never going to do his talents justice.

When it comes to choosing between the two, I am with the color canary.

You should really find something better to do then correcting my posts

That is what I was put on this earth to do. So no. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) English Grammar Police FTW! You keep making these mistakes, and I will keep correcting them. It seems you got yourself a new hobby, misspelling people's names. I Watching You:

That's been my point all along. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) We can have both on the pitch at the same time, but if Pato must be sold, then let's first get the best out of the lad. Win a CL or two. Hype him up and get 80 million from either Madrid/City just like United did. Selling him now to bring Ramos and fund the Balo transfer, nockey-dockey. It just doesn't make sense.

There is some way for Pato to go before becoming anything like Ronaldo though. I think I have more chance of playing up front with him than him becoming to Ronaldo/Messi level, he's good sure, but he's not that good.

I think injuries have played a big part in that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) His goal to games ratio is superb, and few players had as many goals under their belt at this age. That too, playing for a big club. Also playing out of position did not help. For my money Pato should be the pure #9 right in front of the goal. Ronaldo and Messi were/are wingers/forwards, IMO.

Still I agree that there is quite some way to go before we can say he is in the same bracket.

His attitude.

True. What I said above, his mental problems. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And I don't think he will overcome them when/if he comes here. Balo, to me, looks like a case similar to Cassano. Talent? Yes. Mental baggage? Definitely. The management will decide if he is worth the risk, at the end of the day. But I would prefer a more mature player, even if he is less flashy.

Okay, let's cut the offtopic with some news. Here are the 21 selected players for the Chievo clash (acc. mediaset):

QUOTE
Abbiati, Amelia, Paleari(61), Abate, Antonini, Nesta, Oddo, Papastathopoulos, Thiago Silva, Yepes, Boateng, Emanuleson, Flamini, Gattuso, Merkel, Seedorf, Van Bommel, Cassano, Ibrahimovic, Pato, Robinho.

Not that it matters much, but where's Roma?

Not every player makes an instant impact on their teams. It looks like we are always looking for a SAVIOR.

Throughout the years, AC Milan has had Edgar Davids and Patrick Vieira. Recently we´ve had Gourcouff and Huntelaar. Paloschi and Adiyiah ... GONE TOO!

Forwards:

Ibrahimovic - Huntelaar

The thing is that some players need to adapt, need to play, need to have minutes on their backs. Merkel is a young kid... and he needs to play!

Enough with Seedorf already.

Of course we will commit mistakes, but who hasn´t??????

Merkel will become a good player in Milan or in anoher city.

Midfield:

Boateng - Gourcuff - Merkel - Flamini - Pirlo - Van Bommel - Emanuelson - Etc.

We need to give these players some playing time ... at the end of matches for example.

But we need to start giving them time by having Gattuso and Seedorf share theirs.

On the injured list. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Unavailable along with Zambrotta, Ambrosini, Pirlo, Inzaghi, and Bonera.

Nonsense, you make it sound like Milan is the only club to pass away big talents. First of all Palo and Adiyiah are still Milan players and not gone. Gourcuff and Huntelaar are both big club choakers. Davids and Vieira? Sure, like Henry or Diego at Juve, Ibra at Barcelona, Kluivert at Milan,...there are many big names. It doesn't really matter.

I think that's harsh on Ibra. He had 16 league goals in 29 appearances, that's a very good return, in my opinion.

Yes, that's really my mistake. Eto'o at Real would be a better example. Every club has some of those.

Yeah, pretty much every club has a top player that will flop, it's only normal.

Nice ... good way of turning my opinion into a paper ball and throwing it to the trash can.

At the end that wasn´t even the most important part, you missed my real point.

None of those players are coming back to us.

All that was just to say that I wanted AC Milan to play more Mer....... aaaaaaaaaaah forget it.

Just ignore me.
