QUOTE (KillerMax @ Jan 30 2011, 12:26 AM) It was not totally unfair! His second yellow was unjustified, yes, but his first tackle could have warranted a red card alone. He is one nasty player. If the same criteria would have been applied to all 22 players, the game would have had 2 or even 3 more red cards. And well, it's not totally unfair, okay. It's just unfair (IMG: style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Well, that's something interesting. An upgrade, considering the last #4

MVB's first tackle was hideous, it was nasty a stamp on a guys ankle, it was not a trip. That being said he only got booked for that, so by the laws of the game he should never have been booked for the 2nd.
It was a little bit of a shame as whilst I'm nowhere near his biggest fan he wasn't doing too badly at all in the role he was playing at, far more influential than Ambrosini.

Saturday 29 January, 2011 Allegri: 'Van Bommel will learn'
Massimiliano Allegri feels Mark Van Bommel learned a crucial lesson from Italian referees and “it’s the best season of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s career.” Milan earned a 2-0 win away to Catania despite playing with 10 men for the final 35 minutes following Van Bommel’s second bookable offence.
“It’s fair enough,” said the Coach of the red card on Van Bommel’s Serie A debut.
“The referees make decisions based on what they see and this is an example. Van Bommel should’ve been a bit sneakier, but it is his second game in Italian football.
“These fouls are not generally sanctioned with a booking in Germany, but he is a generally aggressive player.”
Ibrahimovic set up the first goal for Robinho and scored the second to confirm his decisive status for the Rossoneri.
“He is having the best season of his career in terms of intensity,” insisted Allegri.
“Ibra has a great deal of enthusiasm, feels like a leader and also knows how to defend, which is the most important thing. If he tracks back, then everyone else follows suit.”

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Apr 2 2011, 09:08 PM) I take this back!
Awesome signing and he's conducted himself very well on the pitch. Even his red card was harsh. Therefore in response to your comment a few posts ago in this thread. I am "so brilliant" (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
