I'm not only talking about these friendlies but in the past few seasons apart from last year due to injuries and stuff he was one of our better players.
And besides the whole team looks tired and can barley keep up we've only been training for 10 days. And both games he was our best player
The kids were even better then him in the friendlies...
And maybe Seedorf does come off as having 'great' seasons because he delivers in the big matches, but in the matches against small opposition he appears to barely give a sh!t most of the time. That's Seedorf's biggest problem. Also the guy's 34, you really think he can be a regular starter for an entire season?
Look at the older guys last season who were burnt out because they had to play in practically every game:
Seedorf: Got injured a lot when he usually stays injury free throughout a season
Ambro: His form dipped rapidly in the last few months because he was overused so much, this while having a perfectly good alternative on the bench in Flamini
Dinho: Another player who played in practically every game and his form suffered in the last few months due to exostion
Pirlo: Same thing as Dinho and Ambro
This is why we need to have good rotation players for the position the players I mentioned above occupy. We can't rely on them constantly, they're not 20 anymore. Playing Seedorf twice a wekk to me is not a smart thing. And I think it's time for Seedorf to slip into a more backup position instead of starter , Flamini and Ambro need to be rotated on a regular basis if they're not going to be played in thes ame formation. We can't do what we did last season, which resulted in the massive injury list we aquired by the month of January
