I don't get wolfsburg; whats the point of keeping a player who doesn't want to stay? Shevchenko was a much bigger star and argubaly one of the top 5 players in the world; yet when he asked to leave we sold him. Imo, no club should be allowed to keep a player against his will. |

He has a running contract on which he agreed. Why shouldn't his employer insist on this contract? Dzeko is an employee just as any other guy.

Because there seems to be no exit clause, besides the one we already know of. That a club has to pay 40 million to get him.

Maybe i'm wrong I'm not sure but I thought thats why he didn't come here last summer. He was to play one year in CL with wolfy and if they did not qualify for the round of 16 the clause would become active or something along those lines. |
