I myself think Veloso, Krasic and especially Dzeko would (/will) in fact be quite expensive! Rafinha would not come for little either.

But people would have to FIND Rafinha to make an offer for him. Last I heard, nobody knew for sure where he was. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Forget Krasic, if we sign anyone from CSKA I hope it's Dzagoev. I've only seen him a dozen or so times, but he looks fantastic. He tore Villa apart last year and I think he's only a teenager still? Might be 20 now.

HERE is the link to the official transfer page on the Lega Calcio website. This is where they list contracts that have been deposited with the league.

Note that both Beckham's contract (temporaneo = loan) and Adiyiah's contract (definitivo = permanent) have been deposited.

marchetti, rafinha, criscito, kjaer, veloso, krasic and dzeko most of them are not quite xpensive. milan will be unstopable with those players.

Not quite expensive? We'd have to pay at least 30 million for Dzeko alone!

Milan to build 'giant' defence Monday 4 January, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Milan are laying the groundwork for a 'giant' defence by opening negotiations for Monaco's Cedric Mongongu and Hamburg's Guy Demel.

Both players are over 6' 2” and despite being African in origin - Mongongu was born in Zaire and Demel in the Ivory Coast - they also have French passports.

Milan are looking to rejuvenate but also re-dimension their backline as Alessandro Nesta and Beppe Favalli aren't getting any younger.

Kakha Kaladze is also on his way out of the club with Lyon, Zenit St. Petersburg and Dynamo Kyiv lining up bids for the Georgia international.

Leonardo wants to add height and physicality to his defence and both Mongongu and Demel fit the bill, according to Milan's technical director Ariedo Braida.

Il Corriere dello Sport understands Milan are also keen to bring 22-year-old defender Davide Astori back from his loan spell at Cagliari. However, he is unlikely to return until the end of the season.

While Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has reiterated that the club won't be doing any more business in January after signing Dominic Adiyiah and David Beckham, the Italian Press believes one of either Mongongu or Demel will arrive with the other joining in the summer.

That's only if you choose to believe Corriere, mishie.(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) which is sort of like believing the Sun.

Another snippet from the Italian Sun type paper...............
QUOTE

For those who don't read Italian, the Corriere article states that a Milan representative has gone to Bosnia to talk to Dzeko's father, etc, taht the deal's 25 million etc. Same thing we've been hearing the last couple of days.

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Jan 4 2010, 06:28 AM) *
before everyone flips out and gets their panties in a twist; this is most likely fake. We won't sell pato in January; so no need to worry.

But saying this; I would personally sell him if madrid offered that sort of money. Another 65M euros could really do us a favor. Selling Pato would be a huge loss but this is AC Milan not AC Pato and if selling one world class player could bring 2 or 3 quality players, I would be all for it.

with 65 M we could sign:
....................................................

What kind of favour would it do us exactly blue? the kind of favour like the money from Kaka's transfer did us? To bring in guys like Roma...

And let's cut the cr@p, you were so sure that the Kaka money would bring in new guys to the squad, and just like I said we ended up with nothing but a panic buy in Huntelaar, who isn't even allowed to play. My God, we couldn't even spring 18m for Fabiano when he was the guy Leo really wanted!!!

Selling Pato would only mean losing a great player that is still 20 years old and not even at half his full potential. Selling him now would not only mean losing the player himself but losing out on a lot of money as Pato has still a long way to go in his development and could potentially cost twice that in a few years.

And right now, we can't really afford to lose him, he's our only hope for the future atm, selling him would set us back about a hundred steps from where we are now, and let's face it, we aren't in that good of a place even now.

i've heard off several people over the last few months this expression...." yeah but we are Milan"
so at what point did the "Milan" these people quote sell their best players....to sell Pato would be football suicide the man is are future, and probably has a decade to wear the Rossoneri shirt and become a legend, more Madrid money...no thanks
