QUOTE (Tennie @ Nov 11 2009, 07:28 AM) thing is, goal.com is not reliable or respectable in any language.(IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I wouldn't consider their twitter thingy reliable either. If someone's going to post gossip from twitter, could they please also mention which twitter feed they get it from? If we're getting our Milan news from f'n Twitter now, then it's the sign of the apocalypse. Any Milan Twitter account is fan-made, because the team does not have an official account (if they did, you think they'd have announced it on acmilan.com by now). Edit: Those double-post kittehs have struck again. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I think extending with Dida with a reduced wage is a very good idea, he's good to have but not on the wage he's currently on. Secondly if we sign Pepe I'll throw myself off a cliff, I can't stand to see him play once every 2 months with Italy let elone see him in the Milan shirt week in week out. Thirdly if we're going to go after a Udine boy get D'Agostino or Zapata (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

QUOTE (LaPalma @ Nov 11 2009, 09:02 AM) Football manager is not a reliable source for contracts. Pleas make sure you don't quote your grandma next time... Also make sure you don't post four times in a row. You can edit your previous post if you want to post additional news. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) someone had a bad day... Your first point we already went over in the past. I'm going to post news whether its reliable or not; i'll let people be the judge on whether or not to believe something. You don't have the right to tell me what I can or cannot post, don't like it? You can join tennie's group. Second Football manager when released is very accurate regarding player contracts, perhaps not the wages all the time but the contracts they are very accurate. Also on your second point if your going to say that you should be consistent and say it to everyone else not just me (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Because it's misleading to post 'news' that comes from a glorified version of AIM instant messaging. And this particular thread is turning into a gossip column as it is.
As for the multiple posts in a row, it's something we can ALL try not to do quite so muhc. I know I'm guilty of it sometimes too but it does clutter the place up. So, please. If you've got 9 news items, make a really big monster post, not 9 posts. I'll try to do the same.

Also the "your grandma line"....really should a mod be saying that (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Also on the winter transfer thread, nowhere does it say it has to be reliable offical sources. I'm just posting anything regarding to milan and people can filter through it as they like. Sometimes even I filter through the source my self such as some of the stuff from goal.com This place is a free press and it should be left as so. Who are we that we can say what is considered a reliable source or not. Anything goes and let the people decide. Power to the people!

QUOTE (MizNelson @ Nov 11 2009, 09:34 PM) I'm about ready to scream due to the incessant pining for Dzeko. Why, you ask? Well, management finally gave in to the fans' demand that we sign Huntelaar. Twelve matches, zero goals and one disappearing act later, there's a reason why they get paid to pick the players and we don't. I couldn't disagree more. Firstly, 12 matches would be more than 1000 minutes. Huntelaar has not even played half of that amount. Secondly, he got his chances when we were having our worst days this season. no need to say that he hasn't been given any real chances since we've started playing better football! And finally, have you forgotten about all those crap players the management got us, who did nothing but flop? what do you mean there's a reason why they get paid to pick the players and we don't ? Don't get me wrong, I'm not a die hard Hunter fan and I would gladly exchange him for a striker with a playing style that suits us. but I think he's being treated unfairly. almost all of us wanted Leo out too cause we thought he couldn't handle it, remember?

Well, sometimes people come here thinking that the transfer thread might be useful. In its current state, I don't think it is. It's my judgment and I'm free to make it. And it's also my right to say that I think goal.com and twitter are useless sources and that anything posted from/linked from there isn't worth the effort of reading. Free speech works both ways.(IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
