2-0 Germany. Including a howler from Roache (Why's he playing instead of Joe Lewis? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Classic England.

I was more on about the GK error!

Milner has been amazing though. Had a red card type 'tackle' on him and just got up without complaining, true professional.

Wagner misses an open goal to all but win the thing for Germany.

Can't argue with that, this really is classic England stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

3-0.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

When Wagner scores past you, it's bad..

Unfortunately it looks like our next generation have got faultering in the big games into their system nice and early. Great.

4..

Wagner again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Stuart Pearce is a great coach, but picking Loache over Lewis in goal was an awful decision.

FT. Well done to the Germans, they deserved it. Just a shame we had so many suspensions for the final, what a joke.

Wow, that was some nice football by our team. Özil was by far the games best best player. And I bow in front of Hrubesch: First the U19 title, now the U21.
And that "assistance" by Englands Gk was unexpected.

You're also U17 champions.

I think you deserved the win, but the score was a bit harsh. Just got a bit lucky with the Johnson/Cattermole clearances. I thought Milner was by far our best player.. the rest were an embarassment. Theo doesn't deserve a U21 starting spot, forget senior team.

True, Milner was good, especially on that when Beck had to clear the ball right in front of the line. Walcott on the other hand didn't even get past Boenisch. But our defense was absolutely cool, great performance, maybe our first team will have some decent CB in the future.
But like I said, much of the credit for this great tournament goes to Hrubesch who's a great youth coach and still has the winning mentality which made German football so successful in the past (unlike the current generation like Ballack, Klose...). Hope the kids take that mentality with them.

Hopefully not, I could do without knocking us out of competitions again!

I believe you might win the next World Cup. When I heard it was in South Africa I thought a team like Argentina, Brazil or another warm country would win it, but many Brazilians and Spaniards complained it was too cold for them, apparently the WC will be in the winter, which is good!

I do feel for Milner, not the way he wanted to play his last ever U21 games. 46 caps for the U21s.. surely that's got to be some sort of Worldwide record!?
