Or just the Spanish are not good (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

They were the pre tournement favourites. So unless the likes of Bet365 and co enjoy throwing money away, I'd guess they're a decent side.

Maybe they do (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I'm sorry I just like riling up any English fan, don't know if you've noticed this but I'm not their biggest fan (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What? You aren't English footballs biggest fan? That's weird, in FourFourTwo this month it had an article on English footballs biggest fans, you were listed as #1, followed by dst and Tennie as #2 & #3.

That must have been a misprint... surely (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

So what do you say kurt? Our teams draw, we both make it to the semis and play for the cup afterwards?

I'd take that. I'd guess that Italy and Sweden progress from the other group and whoever finishes 2nd in our group will play Italy.. so you take care of the Italians for us, and we'll meet you in the final. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

How good are the German Under-21s now? Are you expecting them to win the competitions or make the finals at least or what?

It's the best team since 1982 I guess. And that was also the last time we made it to the semis. We have many guys who are already starters for their Bundesliga clubs like Neuer, Khedira, Marin, Özil, Beck and others. Most of these guys have also played for our first team. I think they're really good, although our big problem is that we don't have a decent striker. If we'd have one we would have easily scored against Spain.
TBH I'd be happy with a draw against your team, our U21 usually screws up against yours.

Ah yes, I remember beating you over 2 legs recently, maybe in qualiying for the last U21 championships. Hopefully Theo does it for us again.

Germany 1-1 England. Castro opened, Rodwell equalised.

Good result for both really. England win the group, Germany also qualify. Spain out. Chances are Italy will face Germany, while England will play hosts Sweden, maybe Serbia.

We were incredibly lucky in the end. England would have deserved more than he draw. We need to play a lot better if we wanna win this. Anyway, first U21 Euro semifinal in 27 years. That's already a success.
