Well, as long as there is a confuse Chelsea, a hybrid collection of teams like ManCity and the Spurs and Liverpool plays CL, ManUtd. is the logic solution.

Went to Boro-Villa yesterday.. was a great atmosphere in the away end, but the Boro fans were embarassing, they barely made any noise all game and when you consider it was a win or be relegated situation for them, you'd think they'd make the effort.. we even celebrated their goal as a piss take. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Anyways, as is tradition, many of our fans travel to the final away game in fancy dress, my mate was put on the website in the Boro Picturess link.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

(IMG:http://www.avfc.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/7b/c/0,,10265~5901435,00.jpg)

Great day out. The Boro players all collapsed at the final whistle, Southgate looked gutted and their fan was crying, poor them.

Hull drew 1-1 at Bolton, while Newcastle lost at home to Fulham. THis means the situation on the last game is this: Newcastle have to better Hulls result to stay up. If Hull win, they're safe. If Hull draw, Newcastle HAVE TO win. If Hull lose, Newcastle need a point.

Hull vs United
Villa vs Newcastle

I can't wait, if we send them down I think I will bloody cry!

That's nice Kurt!

As for Newcastle, I think they're going to survive! I can see both Man U and Villa doing this favor for them by winning and drawing their games.

Good news for those who are interested in Manchester United's financials and all the talk about debt.

We got a new credit training course at work and the instructor was an ex-HSBC corporate banker, who had done a study on Manchester United as of June 2008. Its a whole credit proposal and any of whom would like a copy IM me, as it is a very thorough study, which I might say raises the consciousness of the financial ability of United (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Villa and United do Newcastle a favour? I think after the famous Keegan rant on United in the mid-90s, he'd be more than happy to see them go down and wouldn't be surprised if United lost to Hull, giving Newcastle no hope of survival. But even if they didn't, winning at VP isn't exactly a given, only 3 teams have managed it this season.

To put it plainly, hardly anyone likes Newcastle. A reporter said to Shearer, we know it's not just going to be XI men against Villa next sunday, it'll be a whole region. Then due to various support given to Villa by fans of other clubs, Newcastle won't be facing XI men, they'll be facing a nation.

Didn't realise the academy season had finished! Surprise we finished 3rd in our league, we pissed the whole thing last year, very disappointing. Although we've won the reserve league south for the 2nd successive year, better than disappointing.

Magpies appeal over Bassong ban

Newcastle have appealed against Sebastien Bassong's dismissal in their 1-0 defeat by Fulham on Saturday.

The 22-year-old Frenchman was shown a straight red card by referee Howard Webb after tangling with Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara.

Bassong is set to miss the club's final game of the season at Aston Villa on Sunday, unless his appeal is upheld by an FA regulatory commission on Tuesday.

The defender has started 30 games since joining from FC Metz last summer.

An FA statement said: "The FA has received a claim for wrongful dismissal from Newcastle United defender Sebastian Bassong.

"Bassong was shown a red card for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity during Newcastle's match against Fulham on May 16.

"A regulatory commission will hear the claim on May 19."

Hopefully the FA show some balls for a change and do the right thing. Upheld the decision and extend the ban for wasting their time. Not sure who decides on the appeals, but the guy was the last defender, pulled on the back of the strikers shirt, then eventually kicked him to the ground. If this gets over-turned, we all know who the Premier League want to stay up.

I certainly didn't know all that about Newcastle, but what I meant was that I think United will act professionally and play their game against Hull.

Hopefully not. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Just noticed a new site When The Nation Calls about the release of Villas new away shirt. Apparently it's an 'England-inspired' shirt to hail the fact that we've had more players represent England than any other club. I'm presuming it's just going to be white and nothing special though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

The top trumps style things at the bottom of the page are interesting, our first 3 England players scored 4, 5 and a hat-trick on their respective debuts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Yep, you heard correct.

Could be costly, like £50m costly if they go down.
