I think you meant "concur," Zeddie. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

OOPS (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) these things happen when English is not your mother tongue.

btw is there a way to delete my own posts?

Apparently not. other forums have this option but not MF.

Gila couldn't handle the pressure of a big club, and Gourcuff didn't show any signs of doing likewise. Lest we forget, Bordeaux is no Milan by any means. His performances over there aren't enough to make me jump on the "bring Gour back!" bandwagon yet.

I think that's one of the reasons Italian sides have started to lag behind the English sides. look at their squad, even in the top 4, there are lots of ordinary players who make Gourcuff look like Zidane. players who are good enough to start for those team but never good enough to make it in Italy. they perform well as a team. Italian sides esp Milan rely too much on individuals (especially in midfield and attack) and as a consequence, unless they're very talented and psychologically strong, they struggle.

Gila didnt have as much talant as everyone thaught he did, and wasnt played in his proper position to be as effective as he coulda been. and even if gourcuff is shining but only on brodeaux dont forget that he has been the best player for les bleu in most of there last couple matches. and lets not forget when he was playin for milan he would come in as a sub so if you wanna say he didnt make an impact at milan not manny people would if your only playin 10 mins of a match. most players on milan wounld make an impact commin on as a sub either prolly only pippo and kaka i would bet on making a difference the rest wouldnt risk my money. look at sheva once the best striker in the world now comes in as a sub and still hasnt managed to score a goal even when we were up 4-1 against palermo. the kid had no confidence, what do u expect in games ur up 4-0 and the coach put brocchi on instead of you...id feal like a worthless piece of crap too

Gila's and Gourcuff's case cannot be compared in any way... the former was given the most generous chance(s) I have ever seen anyone given and I think he'd still be here if the fans had not turned against him... it was certainly not the same for Gourcuff was not even a starter (rightfully).

The French did not seem weak to me at all especially considering his age he just seemed too eager to prove his worth and that made him anxious... he would have done much better with time but it seems to me that he's not very much liked and respected in Milan so I guess something has happened between him and Ancelotti.

I thaught the same thing, for what ever reason Ancelotti didn't like him because after he was loaned out Carlo was trash talkin him, which lead me to believe he would be sold after his loan spell for sure. i dunno if anyone read goal.com's article of ancelotti's dinner with berlsconni but when he was asked of what he thaught about Gourcuff he said “I would be very happy is Gourcuff returns next season, but it all depends on what Bordeaux decide to do. He has matured a lot there.”....i was shocked!

I don't read goal.com as it's wildly unreliable (most of what they publish is ****). But Ancelotti did say that about Gourcuff in his prematch comments.

After that goal, I'm sure Seedorf will be replaced by no other then Gourcuff. Amazing stuff.
