AC MILAN, Probable new sponsor

AC Milan and the BWIN betting company will not renew their partnership after June 30, 2010, the club's next sponsor could become an Arab company involved in the transportation business. The name of the company has not been disclosed yet.

source: tmw

Aww, and I liked the BWIN logo. It seems we are getting closer and closer to selling our souls to an arab owner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

just joking....(IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

I wouldn't read too much into it, given the source.

I won't ever forget the sceam FIAT made to aquire Alfa Romeo and Lancia. That's a thing you never foget. If Berlusconi where PM at that time, such a business action never would have happened.

Ha! No way. Agnelli would never be limited by Berlusconi. Do not forget he's the one that saved Juventus from relegation in the early 80's scandal when he threatened to fire thousands of people...

Indeed. But - Alfa Romeo and Lancia were owned by the italian state - gouvernment. Only a Fiat management sceam made the gouvernment agree to a much less-profitable agreement with Fiat, instead of GM or a third solution. This is one of the biggest not-discussed scandals in Italian business history.

I actually like FIAT. I was in two minds about them, but ever since the new CEO came in, I really like the company. I kinda find it weird to hate them coz of Juve. I especially love the Abarth tuned versions.

I'd love to own a Fiat 500. But in India, with tax, it comes to twice the actual value since the 500 is completely imported, and not manufactured here.

Alfa Romeo did not want to be taken over by GM, they were just looking for the best possible deal. I sure am glad it did not happen anyway.

Alfa Romeo wans't in the position to want anything, their fate was tied to the gouvernments decisions, and they decided not to consider the better GM deal.
