Never liked him, never will but I will always be thankful to what he has done for Milan. QUOTE (Zed.D @ Feb 20 2009, 09:19 PM) Wow, I'm sick of the way Pato's name is brought up in a rather negative way every now and then... Damn fanboys! You can't be serious! That was my intention - encourage people to post in this thread, especially because Pippo's breaking records this season. Nothing else.

I don't need to be lectured at to discuss Pippo. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Despite the fact that he's not well liked by a number of folks, he's a hero to me because of Athens (and before that Berlin. look back at the match thread; he wasnt even close to fit and yet played and scored). I've got 2 signed jerseys from the current crop of players. One is Gattuso. The other is Pippo.

QUOTE A big part of Pato's thread is all the transfer blah blah before he signed up. Exactly. I think around 50 pages (didn't check. just guessing) This discussion wasn't that useless, not for me. I got to know some people a little bit better (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) -------------------------- @ the sad people How about stop posting in that 19 year old's thread, and try a little more posting in the Pippo thread? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) QUOTE (dst @ Feb 20 2009, 11:26 PM) Damn fanboys! You can't be serious! huh.gif biggrin.gif I am serious, you screwball (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) OK, I'm done with this discussion.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Feb 20 2009, 09:45 PM) I didn't mean it in a negative way to Pato, it's just surprising to me that somebody has given some of his best years to the club and done great things here yet doesn't seem to be as talked about as a guy who's played for the club for a year. Nothing against Pato at all, it's not like it's his fault people talk about him alot. Surprising? In what way? I don't think so... I mean, Pato is a hot subject but no one respects him more than we do Pippo.

Surprising in the sense that Pippo has been at the club longer, done more for the club, therefore giving us more talking points.. But again, this isn't anything to do with Pato. It just so happened I was reading his thread before I went into Inzaghi's and noticed the difference. I could have said Ronaldinho or Beckham or whoever else, it was just by chance that Pato was the comparison, no other reason.

I don't think the number of a certain player thread's pages has anything to do with the amount of the the time that player's been here. Milan fan hasn't been around since 2001, has it? Talking points? again, I doubt there is much to say/remember about what Pippo did in the 2003/04 season, for example. people tend to forget things as time passes by. just because a certain player's been here for nearly a decade doesn't mean there are more subjects about him to discuss than a newcomer. just my opinion. Yeah, Locke. We think we can actually talk about (and say positive things about) someone other than Pato. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(Fishdoll was sure you'd run off with a flamenco dancer named Lola, Locke.)
