I want Villa to finish in the top 4 but I still feel something for Arsenal too (only because of Robin and Kolo the others I despise, the team as a whole is not attractive and Wenger is currently pissing me off) so Chelsea in 5th place would just be sweet!

But I don't really care what happens as long as they don't win the league.

If he could just start showing his Villa form in some international matches...

It is rumoured that Guus Hiddink will be the temporary Chelsea manager for the remainder of the season. He doesn't want to return to club management apparently, but the £2.5m Chelsea are reportedly going to give him For 3 months work!) may be more than enough to persude him. He will remain as Russia coach and juggle both jobs, if he accepts the Chelsea offer.

Is that allowed? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Or even possible? That's quite a little task, tackling two high-profile jobs. What if he has got to be at two places at the same time. Three months, I know, but this I gotta see, if he goes for Chelsea.

He did it before for PSV...and it's only short term. Right now the focus is probably to win at least one cup, and qualify for CL.

I don't think it would be that difficult. International and club teas have little or nothing to do with each other really. International games are only played when club games aren't and the same the other way around. I never really understood fans who "put club before country" since there's never going to be a situation that could arise where you would ever need to do this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

No, I actually meant general meetings, etc, not games, in particular. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) International matches are of course usually held while the club games are put on hold. Even if for three months, there may yet come a time when he's needed on more than one place at the same time. Then again it may not.

You probably have heard this from Liverfool fans... they always like to brag about how great fans they are... unlike the rest of us who have let our team... 'walk alone'... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/puke.gif)

I know a few people who have the attitude of "I've given up on England, when they stat to play well they will earn my support, until then Ill forget about them".. surely this is just glory hunting! "I will only support you when you're good", that's so sad. I think some people in this country forget how fortunate we are in terms of football. There's probably only 3 countries in the World (Spain, Italy and Germany) who can claim to have a nation/domestic league that is as strong as ours overall, that's 3 countries out of 200 hundred-odd!

Don't forget about the Finnish top division, they've got names like Tampere United and Veiiytycklee FC.

ZD, this is the kind of reason why I'm saying you can't really complain when Pato isn't given much time.. The fact that Heskey went off injured 4 days before, but Capello still brings him on, over plenty of players on the bench who were 100% is a joke.
QUOTE
Martin O'Neill is on a collision course with England manager Fabio Capello over Emile Heskey. Aston Villa boss O'Neill reckons Capello took an unnecessary risk playing the hitman during the Three Lions' friendly clash against Euro kingpins Spain in Seville on Wednesday.

FA Cup 5th Round results
Swansea 1-1 Fulham
Blackburn 2-2 Coventry
Sheffield United 1-1 Hull
West Ham 1-1 Boro

Tonights game
Watford vs Chelsea

Tomorrows games
Everton vs Villa
Derby vs United

4th Round Replay - Monday night
Arsenal vs Cardiff (winner plays Burnley in the 5th round)

With all these draws and replays, the QF draw tomorrow could be confusing "West Ham or Boro will play.. Arsenal, or Cardiff, or Burnley" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

If Heskey declared himself fit why shouldn't Capello play him? I think we get excessively one-sided when our own players get involved.
