Mido scored a penalty late on to equalise.. Rafa bought Gerrard off! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Everton 1-1 Arsenal FT Great result for Villa, for for about the 4th game running, Arsenal have scored in the last 7 minutes or so to rescue some points or win them the game. Still, 5 points is now the gap, we MUST keep winning! |

I saw the Wigan game. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) And frankly, Locke, just think Arsenal didn't play an EPL Season 2008-09. I find them hard to believe, the string of results I've seen. And I thought if Manchester United could climb back, so could the Gunners.
In a way Arsenal's season has been awfully similar to Milan's. Change of coaches, anyone? |

The only place I see Carlo working great is either in Africa (with their pure football), or the Azurri NT. Stoke City v Manchester City Arsenal v West Ham Utd Aston Villa v Wigan Athletic Bolton v Tottenham Fulham v Portsmouth Hull City v WBA Middlesbrough v Blackburn Man Utd v Everton Sunday Newcastle v Sunderland Liverpool v Chelsea Good set of fixtures this weekend. Big games with Liverpool/Chelsea and Man U/Everton, relegation games in Hull/WBA and Boro/Rovers with some local derbies too Newcastle/Sunderland and Arsenal/West Ham. John Carew is back in the Villa squad for the Wigan game, brilliant news for us. |

The word 'luck' has been thrown in our direction quite a few times this season, but today whatever luck we've had this season has more than equalled itself out. We hit the post twice and had the ball cleared off the line, not once, not twice.. not three times, but four! Aside from these chances, there was some incredibley heroic defending by Wigan, throwing their bodies in front of our players shots. We deserved to win, and win comfortable, but their defenders didn't deserve to lose. Arsenal failed to win at home to West Ham, also with a 0-0 draw, so we have not lost anything today, if anything we've gained, that's 1 less chance for Arsenal to catch us!

-Torres with both. At 0-0, Lampard was sent off for winning the ball, and being volley'd in the leg by Alonso, who had already been carded. So instead of doing the obvious thing of sending Alonso off for a late challenge.. he sends Lampard off for nothing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) MotM performance from Mike Riley for Liverpool, will surely play a huge part in Victim FCs challenge for the title. |

The only reason he got booked today was because the ref knew he fucked up the Lampard decision and was trying to 'even' it out a bit. |

Newcastles Shay Given has signed for Man Citeh. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
Really can't understand this, they have a young keeper in Joe Hart who will certainly not be hapy to be on the bench after he's just got into the England squad, so will have to leaeve. This leaves Citeh with an old keeper. I suppose money doesn't matter o them and Given is a very good keeper. No logic in the signing at all though. |
