Surprised nobody's mentioned it (disinterest, perhaps?) but Ronaldo won the Ballon D'or, beating Lionel Messi by 165 points.

No surprise, completely deserved it.

To be fair I didn't expect too many people to be gladly writing about it on this board.

ya i can understand why people dont like him, he is a big d0uch, then again theres a lot of them especially in the football world. but myself i dont let that effect me when judging the value of a player, he was the best in the world and won it deservingly.

Yeah, people take his cheating/attitude too much into account with this. He was by far the best player in World football this year and won it deservingly. Doesn't mean he's not a ****.

I saw my mate the other day,
he said to me he's seen the white Pele,
so I ask who is he, he goes by the name of Wayne Rooney.....

Nobody mentioned it because
1. He's a big fat c***
2. We all knew he would get it
3. We love Rooney and we knew Porty would insult him! Now look at what you've done.

I know. I still think it's an insult to call him 'white Pele' though! Had Rooney been around in the 1960s.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

In Kurt's honor (since he's at the game and may well be hung over anyway), Fishdoll dons his flashing claret-and-blue antlers and prepares to cheer on Villa against Everton.

Let's just hope Villa wins, that way Kurt can rest peacefully this week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
