It's very interesting to see that now we want every player in our team....

What are we gonna do in our midfield with Ronnie, Kaka, Seedorf, Gattuso, Flamini, Gourcuff, Ambrosini, Pirlo????????????????????

SOUNDS GREAT .. BUT ......... DO WE ALL WANT A TEAM OF UNHAPPY PLAYERS???????????

KAKA CANNOT BE BENCHED
RONNIE DIDN'T CAME OVER TO BE BENCHED
SEEDORF DOESN'T WANT TO BE BENCHED
GATTUSO .... WHO WANTS HIM BENCHED?
AMBROSINI .... AGAIN TO THE BENCH???
FLAMINI ... STARTER ... NOT A BENCH WARMER
PIRLO .... BENCH???
GOURCUFF .... BRING HIM BACK TO BE BENCHED???

Now it turns out that we are after another midfielder???? I don't know if we can keep everybody happy.

Give em all top quality dope...from Colombia... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) They'll all be happy...

Me...I want a CB. As much as I'd like Yoann to be our replacement for Seedorf in the mid-field trio, I don't know if he'll wait that long...

What we have to do is to rotate the squad like Guardiola is doing for Barca..But the problem is the trust in all these players to deliver well isn't there yet...In Barca, messi doesn't play every game..At least he comes in as a sub...We need to rotate our players efficiently but the likes of Emerson and Ambro should be lesser..Some games should start with Pirlo, Gourcuff, some with seedorf flamini...know wat i mean...With the guaranteed starting 11, it makes players feel less important to the starting 11...and by the way there is no buy out clause for Gourcuff's loan to Bordeaux..It's just a LOAN

Top post. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Carlo thinks otherwise, however.

That's what we ought to do but... rotation is not a word in Carletto's vocabulary...

How long do you think Seedorf has left in him Jack? He's 32 now, by the time Yoann returns next season he'll hit 33. You can't expect him to be anything more then a rotation player by then.

@ Panama Devil, we play tons of games in one season, healthy competition in the squad will keep players performing to their best, unlike what's been happening these last 2 years when there was only, Pirlo, Rino, Ambro and Seedorf, while always having their place on the team assured. Players should be rotated, but unforunetly Carlo doesn't really understand that simple concept. He's stubborn and has been sticking to his same 4 midfielders since his first season with Milan. Unfortunately for him, those players have either become too lazy to even try or too tired to play in every single matcj because age is cathing up to them.

Seedorf doesn't want the bench? Would you rather have an enthusiastic young player like Yoann in the midfield that is ready to give his all, or a Seedorf who jogs around without giving a cr@p about what happens in the match? Ambro, is not good enough compared to the other defensive mids we hape, he doesn't have Rino's drive and passion, or Flamini's energy and smarts. The only think he has going for him is the fact that he can score the odd header here and there.

And our midfield looks crowded because we have way too many defensive mids then any team would ever need. We need another creative central mid. We only have Pirlo and Seedorf. And if one of them goes down we have to play with the 2 defensive mids and that just brings up a whole bunch of other issues. Plus if Seedorf for some reason gets injured before Pirlo returns we would be screwed, Carlo might start ****** off at the idea of playing multiple games with Ambro, Flamini, Rno, but we would be royally screwed if that happened

@gal_kenny, in theory that's a brilliant plan of how to handle you squad, but we all know Carlo doesn't like to play with anyone other then his usual first team line-up that's why we've been struggling ever since these players have hit a snag, becuase we're not continuing to build, and Carlo is still stuck in 04

Hot Diggity! Do I love your lengthy posts like these where you address multiple people at once Han, or what? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Keep going lad, you're the only hope of Milanfan. And I mean it.

I believe in han2503! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) I kind of agree with most of what you said here. The Seedorf part in particular!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I know, I've been there. More than once!

The thing with monster posts is you don't know when to stop. Or worse yet, you don't even want to stop. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) That's when it gets scary. Having said that, I do love a nicely formatted, well written monster post every now and then. Makes good reading while I'm eating/drinking some snacks!

^^

Maybe I should write one about the departure of Sourav Ganguly in the cricket thread. I've been fussing about it so much, football has almost ceased to exist. Dada...oh dada!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

My favorite cricket player from India. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) An era in himself. Breathtaking player, and probably India's best captain ever. I've stopped watching cricket, but still would pay to watch him batting (and bowling). Oh, well another classy left-hander gone. Here's one cool little video I found of him:

You've probably seen it yourself by now, but anyway:

QUOTE
Gourcuff? I'm happy for him, I hope he found the best situation to express his qualities. Here he expressed them, then he got lost a bit, he suffered the fact that he did not play much. Now he is doing well and we are really happy about this. He will surely return as he's on loan.
