Fabregas started most games from the bench and whenever he came off it, did good. saying Xavi and Iniesta did better is acceptable and different from saying Cesc was average. Cesc was good, Xavi (and to some extent Iniesta) was outstanding. Spain as a whole were in a surprisingly good form in the Euro 2008.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It's just hitting me now what's actually happened, wasn't sure what to think at first so I just said nothing. We were all devastated when he left but my fear is that was only part one! I think we were just starting to move on, we had Pato, Borriello, Paloschi etc. I can only see him (still can't even say/type his name - too painful) as a problem now - getting in the way of our attack that was just starting to grow. As a man I've forgiven him and don't blame him for coming back, he admitted he made a mistake and paid dearly for it. Chelsea has destroyed him though & now it's too late, he'll never be anywhere close to what he was before. He left us as... some would say a traitor, but more importantly - a legend, having made indeleble history with us. He returns though as a loser and I don't see what good can come of it, for us anyway.

Worst move this summer was by far not selling Rino when we had the chance. Him being injured is a blessing in disguise, but whenever he's fit there is no way Carlo will drop him. That means we either play with too many DMs or one of Ambro/Flamini will be dropped, and they're both better than he is. Maybe next summer he'll go to Rangers or something.

Worst transfer.. hard to say yet really, they've all been as bad as each other.
