I was just looking at the match incidents.. did Berbatov really play a full 90 minutes? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I never saw him once in the second half.

Some seem to think of Ronaldo that way on here

Which he is. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I still can't believe how terming him as the third best player still isn't enough for people. Out of what millions. You have to consider his terrible form for Portugal, as well as his chocking against big teams, and against quality oppositions from other leagues. He does comparatively well against less talented players, and don't get me started on his diving, crying, acting abilities.

I still think if you make the list of the World's Best XI, then all eleven players are the absolute best in the world. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Its another matter entirely fans start ranking them to decide on the absolute best. Which most do for Christiano, forgetting the fact that he harps every other week about how he's the best in the world, and Ferguson chimes in. For me? He's a gem of a player, but not the number one in the world. That's where the overratedness (is this even a word?) starts. Our point of difference.

My $0.02.

No, we had not.

Who cares about class? I care about Milan winning. Not getting humiliated by Chelsea, Bologna, Lugano, etc. Where's the class at the of the day?

PS: Liverpool is doomed with those 2 benched.

Yes we have. You clearly are mixing up facts with fantasy.

I care about class. Milan has had a history of indifference when it comes to friendly games... the same goes towards Italy's National Team.

Yes, your opinions are never right. Including that PS note.

Oh God, now Souness is saying "Mascherano and Alonso were the best 2 players on the pitch". Why is that, did you not see anybody else playing? They're shite, no wonder you win F all with a CM pairing like this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

At times like these, I feel it's personal... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What's wrong with the .tv domain? Liverpool didn't have a TV channel, so they had the eSeason-Ticket. A bit like the MilanShowtime but with more stuff. That's why they've that domain. www.lfc.tv

It's not wrong but like acid said, it suits them fine...

Nothing particularly wrong, but if I were them I'd have secured the .com domain, and launched another site on .tv with media content. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) There is a reason they have different extensions for commercial (.com), network (.net) organization (.org), .edu (education), government (.gov), and military (mil), etc.

Most other major clubs have .com. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) I was just shocked when I first checked it out. Their victory today has nothing on that shock feeling, at least for me personally. United have been in a bit of a dip of form recently, so they were on equal grounds to Liverpool.

So all that matters is winning no matter what? I beg to differ.

It isn't enough for some people because he isn't the 3rd best player, I've never seen anyone that good before, what he did last season was almost video game like. I don't think he plays that badly for Portugal, I don't see enough games to have a completely valid opinion but he's by no means bad. This choking against big teams is a misconception as well, I'm not sure what he has to do to try and convince people otherwise. You'd have thought scoring in a European Cup Final against a top team would have shown otherwise, he also has very good records vs the likes of Arsenal in the league too.

Eusebio was talking to SSN and says he believes Ronaldo is a better player than he ever was, I personally can't say since I haven't seen too much of him. But he's 23.. he's made over 50 caps for a very good country, he scored over 40 goals in one season, he won the league and the European Cup, as well as being the top scorer in the EPL, Champions League and all throughout Europe. In my opinion, from anything I've ever seen, Cristiano Ronaldo's 07/08 season is the best single season by any player, ever.

Choking against big teams, he scored and was effective in the CL final bar the penalty miss but if that's held against him then football really is a sad game. I mean Kaka didn't really do much in the final against Liverpool really did he?

His diving? So Messi doesn't go down everytime when he's anywhere near the penalty box and has a little paddy when he doesn't get it. Man I watched him in the Olympics final and he went down about 3 times in the box in the first half an hour. I've seen him a number of times and whenever he gets muscled off the ball fairly he goes down like he's been shot. As does Ronaldo, yes but he's not so bad as he used to be and to use that as a downgrader doesn't really work because Messi does it just as bad.

I'm pretty sure in the Euro's he was crying because he wanted to win it for his country so bad, yeah what an arrogant idiot... He couldn't win though, if he walked off the pitch showing no emotion everyone would just accuse him of not wanting to play for Portugal...

I guarantee if Messi was playing for United and Ronaldo for Barca and I tried to stand up for Messi everyone would be saying to me 'are you stupid this guy won the league and the CL nearly single-handedly for his club and scored 40 goals in a season'... I guess that's playing in the unglamorous, unfashionable English league for you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Without meaning to open up a big can of worms here, I'm not sure that Cristiano Ronaldo would have scored quite so many goals if he were playing in Spain or Italy where the style of play is different. He CAN be marked out of games but the style of defending in the English league is different than what one sees on the continent.

Is he a very good player? Yep. Best in the world last year? Probably. Do I despise him for his attitude? You got it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I think it's a bit silly to say that one is better than the other. Sure, you can compare the season every player has had with each other's but you can't calculate their qualities this way (or any other way in my view)... CR is not the best player in the world because he had a great season just like he won't be crap when he's going to have a crap season... was he the top performer last season? Surely yeah! He's among the elite but being the best is gratuitous.

You have some serious issues with respect, and that post was no different.

Personally I'm sick and tired of your snappy responses. It seems to me you cheer on Man City more than you do Milan.
