I hope Rino recovers soon!
That said, the fact that we've got Flamini (who hopefully won't get hurt playing for France) doesn't exactly leave a huge gaping hole in the center of midfield the way Rino's injury would've done last year.

It's possible he won't play in the Derby, yes. The Derby is Sept 28 and if it takes a month for him to heal then yeah. He will probably be out.

I've seen the 'he heals fast' thing repeated several times. It's true, but broken bones are a little different from soft tissue injuries. Therefore, I'm far from certain that Gattuso will be back in time for the derby - and I think it'd be unwise to rush his return, given that we've got cover for the position.

Exactly what I've been thinking while seeing all the fast healer comments. Broken bones, especially like the ones Rino broke in his hands have nothing to do with the player's ability to make a quick recovery, this isn't some muscular injury that he can recover through by working hard in physio therapy.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) Not something I needed to read during lunch. Apparently Rino ALSO dislocated the fingers of his left hand when he fell. Ow. So...dislocated wrist, dislocated fingers, broken hand. Owie. The fact that he's as cheerful as he has been ('It could've been worse' was his quote) is pretty remarkable. That must've really hurt.
