F@ck Gattuso was injured in the training and had a surgery for dislocation of the hand "Gattuso was taking part in a friendly game against a team of unemployed players at the Gradisca d’Isonzo training ground when he fell into the dugout on the side of the pitch, before banging his head and hurting his left wrist." "It has not yet been revealed how long Gattuso will be out of action for, but one assumes that he will definitely miss Italy’s match with Georgia, while he could also be in serious doubt for a number of Milan games." QUOTE (vahid @ Sep 7 2008, 08:00 PM) So maybe we can have Seedorf,Kaka,Dinho and Pato in a same time. We'll see, from Tassotti's words in the interview Tennie posted it looks like we're going to be using the 4-2-3-1 system. I don't know if Kaka will play but I get the feeling that he will so I would like to see something like this Janku--Bonera--Maldini--Zambro Pirlo--Flamini Kaka--Pato--Dinho Sheva I think this could really work. I didn't like what I saw from Seedorf last Sunday when he played in the middle of the attacking 3. He's too lazy and slow to play there, and when he delays the ball too much it ruins every move the team builds up. Pato will be much quicker playing there, he'll move the ball quicker, plus all of those 4 attacking players can basically all continuosly alternate positions. I think if we can make this new system work it will be a far more dynamic approach then the xmas tree.

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Sep 7 2008, 04:23 PM) ^^^ I like the line up ... But Seedorf is missing (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Seedorf's game was never based on speed, and with the tempo that Milan plays at, he becomes a very crucial player. I like how Desailly described him, ' he acts as a junction that links up the defense with the attack ..'. Of course to each his opinion, nevertheless, Seedorf is very important to this team. Slow or not, his qualities are a part of the ingredients to this Milan, otherwise he wouldn't have been here all this time. And there you have it for today's r7 Philosophy Lesson. Join us next week when r7 explores the meaning of life and how it is integrated in Milan.
