And besides, a good chunk of our players have been from other countries, beside Italy. So it's always difficult to call an absolute favorite.

And besides, a good chunk of our players have been from other countries, beside Italy. So it's always difficult to call an absolute favorite.

Yep, it really is hard to sum up all the past and present players into one or two of them - Boban and Weah I adore and have a sentimental connection. Just like Marco Simone and maybe Baresi. I've seen them play several occasions and well..

From the recent roster? Yep, I'd take out Pippo and Paolo, but also Ambro. All three have something very special and unique, but in different "drops". But,... everyone knows I'm a Ancelotti-fan.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I'll admit I've got a special fondness for Pippo - looking at him, you wouldn't think he was such a goalscorer but his record speaks for itself. I also enjoy his goal celebrations. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Even half-liked him when he was a Zebra. The Del Piero-Pippo-Zidane trident was deadly. I do also have a general fondness for pretty much the entirety of the Sacchi-era team. Paolo Maldini is my favourite active player. But I always liked Billy more when they were playing. (for what it's worth, Billy's apparently taking the year off and playing stay-at-home-dad while Martina Colombari is in a play in Milan).

I think some people just take to certain players. As much as I respect the majority of the Milan squad, guys like Rino, Nesta and even Maldini.. I've just never been a fan on them personally, rather the team as a whole. Ambro and Sheva, however, I am a fan of. I've just always liked them especially.

I know I'm defensive about him to a fault, but perhaps that wouldn't be the case if he weren't Milan's most hated player, so I sort of feel like the lone salmon swimming upstream. I cried off and on for four days after the Celtic incident, something I don't think I've ever spoken of until now.

i wouldnt say he is hated, it's just his performances were poor. but if anything i'm more annoyed with management's failure to deal with the sitaution.
