QUOTE (Tennie @ Aug 20 2008, 03:01 AM) *
One of our boardmembers (whoearthepatriots?) reported that a relative of his had run into the English Student in the US over the summer - and that (to be kind) my Portuguese is probably better than his English.

Yeah, my uncle ran into him and he said his English was as good as Alessandro Nesta's...

But seriously, Torres (who gave an interview to "match of the day" recently) speaks more fluently and with more purpose than Sheva who has spent over a year more in the country

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Aug 20 2008, 07:00 AM) *
And the players are always grateful... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Don't forget that.

Sergio is out scouting for us. So is Desailly. Cafu too...soon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I mean in 10 years, all they have to do is give us one more Kaka/Pato.

Sergio was good and so was Cafu, they were useful to us even at an old age, its when we show loyalty to Dida, Favalli and Emerson thats what confuses me. These players cannot perform anymore what is the point of keeping them?

Sheva coming? Paloschi leaving? Free loan? Oh dear. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) My head is spinning, and fast.

Oh dear, we already have a striker shortage we cant let Paloschi leave!

Exactly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I'd bet my house we can be in a real mess through the season if Paloschi leaves. Inzaghi/Bori can get injured at any time. So to can Sheva (he isn't exactly a teenager). What if we have to play with a 2 striker formation? Plus, you can't really tell whether he'll learn more on loan or staying here with the teammates.

Keep Paloschi at Milan!

My sentiments exactly. Sheva and Inzaghi are too injury prone, that leaves the untested Borriello and the inexperienced Pato. If we do let him go at least let the other strikers recover. (January loan would be okay but i prefer it if he stays)

Can someone translate this from AC Milan website italian page? thanks

I take it to mean that there are no guarantees that Shevchenko will arrive and that there are no guarantees that Milan's transfer market would close if Shevchenko were to arrive.

QUOTE
Milan, Ramaccioni: "Sheva? Manca poco"
20.08.2008 16.29 di Andrea Losapio
Minestra riscaldata o colpo a effetto?

Transaltion pls? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/begging.gif)

(quick translation as work is rearing its ugly head)
[Andriy Shevchenko is really a step away from wearing Rossoneri colors again. Confirmations arrived during the day despite the partial and timid denial of Ancelotti. Now Milan director Silvano Ramaccioni has said the following on Radio Goal: "Shevchenko in rossonero? Little is lacking. I hope that what I've read is true, we're close to the end of negotiations and hope that those few remaining things can be done. I'd be happy if Shevchenko were to return to MIlan and am ready to re-embrace the Ukrainian champion, for us we're treating it as a return home."]

This sentimentalism's gonna hurt us down the line (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) though he can be a great short term fix for us, I'm gonna lose much of my respect for him (because he maid a fool of himself over a three-years' time)

Why, Sheva? WHY? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)
