QUOTE (gal_kenny @ Aug 13 2008, 06:46 PM) Its sad he ain't coming back..He was the most complete striker (can take free kicks, shots, dribble, score with head which henry doesn't do, and score with both legs anytime)..However, he has dipped in form..I doubt if he'll still be as dangerous as he was in milan... I don't even think if he came back he would recapture the magic he once had. That move to Chelsea ruined him, and I think irreparably. I'll pass if we had the opportunity to bring him back.

[AC Milan announces having reached agreement with Chelsea FC for the transfer of Andriy Shevchenko. The player will be in Milan tomorrow to undergo a medical. The terms of the agreement are confidential.]
[Adriano Galliani was interviewed on Milan channel about Sheva: 'After a series of frenetic telephone calls yesterday, we've reached agreement with Chelsea. Andriy returns in rossonero, and will be in MIlan tomorrow. Monday he'll undergo his medical after which he'll sign the contract and as of Tuesday he'll be at Carlo Ancelotti's disposition. We've been able to bring home the player who in the last 50 years has scored the most goals in our jersey. President Berlusconi and I are happy as is our coach and I believe our fans will be too. I tihkn taht Milan is the only club in the world to have 3 Golden Ball winners in its squad. Yes, Andriy's returning home and I'm happy about it. I'm a fan of MIlan and am very content. I've called him 48 times in the last 3 hours. The contents of the agreement are confidential. From tomorrow night Andriy will be in Milan and will recommence his life as a player of Milan. Andriy made a mistake leaving and I think that in the two years apart, he understood that this is his home. Now he's made economic sacrifices but the only thing that counts is that he's returned to us.]

Look at all the other young players we got this transfer season. But, Sheva... I have no words on this one.

But, Sheva... I have no words on this one. No? nice olympics performance of his. Whatever! I'm sorry to have wrote that post, because I was very mad and shocked at this news. In other words; forever milan (even if it means supporting the alluring R10) fyi; I was from the beginning against the R10transfer... but oh well PS: i didnt write that R10 is old.

PS: i didnt write that R10 is old. He did respectably considering the subpar performances of the rest of the team. He did well in the 3rd place match too... getting more pace back. What do you expect from the guy? He hasn't played competitively in a while. He's 28 years old. He's far from his peak. Sheva is almost 32 years old... I was reluctant about Ronaldinho. BUT... I support it now and I think he's going to be critical for our scudetto race.
