Ancelotti: No Major Changes

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti reveals that he will not be making major changes in this summer's transfer campaign.

The Rossoneri have been a shadow of the team which lifted the Champions League last year. With certain players future's in doubt such as Rino Gattuso and Ronaldo, the San Siro based club will need to reinforce their squad.

There has been much talk of Ronaldinho, Drogba and Zambrotta arriving at Milanello but Ancelotti insists that there will not be a major reshuffle of his side.

"I don't think there will be any major changes but we will have a little restructuring here and there," Ancelotti told LA 7.

"With me on the bench there will always be minor changes and new people coming in but I am very calm about it.

"Sometimes things go well and at other times they don't, however we will see what happens."

The Rossoneri have already captured Matthieu Flamini from Arsenal on a free transfer and it seems as if Ancelotti will be looking to continue that trend of not spending mega bucks for players.

Milan still have an outside chance of qualifying for the Champions League but they need to ensure they win and hope that Fiorentina lose at Torino.

I hope we get Canini (especially if Simic leaves), but im more concerned about the DM department. If Gattuso and Brocchi leave we must replace them pronto, we cannot afford to lack depth in that position, considering Ancelotti loves his DM heavy formations

Edit: I thought Ancelotti dosent get much say in the transfer market, his vote carries some weight, but its not solely up to him...

A lot of that depends on whether he's on the bench! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Silvio isn't too fond of our coach, and to be honest the future of our coach is still up in the air, and 50-50 until the result of our last match later this week. I'd be okay with him if we do get some world class players, but having said that someone new at the helm doesn't sound too shabby either.

dont worry guys he won't be on our bench next season. Man city are trying to give carlo a contract and same with the italian national team. They're both fighting for him. If fourth isnt reached hes gone.
