I don't need to, I've seen it enough times.

There's no way they could have just turned up for 6 minutes and won the European Cup. Milan would beat any team if they were the better team for 114 minutes, so you're basically insulting the team.
*

That's the frustrating part ! Milan dominated !

Watch the final Kurt ! You don't need to act on impulse. Anyone who did wouldn't claim otherwise !

Today Grant had the luck Mourinho didn't have on the last semis.

This is the worst Chelsea in a CL semi I remember.

Wouldn't it just be the height of irony for Chelsea to go through to the finals now that Mourinho has gone?

I think he'd still get alot of credit anyways, It's still 'his team' afterall. Grants not made any changes, besides Anelka, and he's been poor.

Grant is an idiot. He took off cole at the right time but waited too long for his second sub. It was clear drogba wasn't doing anything. He should have either came off or sub malouda aswell as ballack and put on sheva and anelka. He should have pressed for a goal as liverpool were clearly looking like they were falling apart slowly. Porty is right if mourinho had this luck he would have been in teh final. An own goal, can you believe it.

Drogba to me looks like he doesnt care what happens to chelsea now. He didnt even put in an effort this game.

QUOTE (mishale @ Apr 22 2008, 02:50 PM)
Essien was suspended, Lampard didn't train this week at all (his mother is sick) and had one of his worst games ever, Drogba barely past the fitness test before the game (problems with his knee) and it showed that he wasn't completely fit. Balack was in doubt too. So the important thing was the result even if they didn't deserved it.

Liverpool won't win at SB.

dont be so confident. Arsenal kicked our @ss at home. Anything is possible especially with rafa at the helm.

Chelsea's record at home + Liverpool's record at Stmford Bridge = Chelsea in the final.

But as we know, football never goes according to plan!

So I finally saw the replay.

(With apologies to any lurking Scousers) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I didn't realise until I saw it that Riise's own goal was at the Kop end of the pitch. That's just too funny.

dst will be a very pleased woman when she sees the result! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

Oh yeah!!! Giggity giggity!!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I LOVE NORWAY!! I LOVE RIISE!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Seems like Liverpool deserved to win (judging from the ext. highlights) but this team has had luck on their side on numerous occasions so they just can't say a thing.

Even the goal they scored... damn man... Mascherano was trying to shoot for ****s sake... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) And before that... from a Gerrard through ball that Babel failed to control, Torres almost had a chance! At some point, and you can write this down, Liverpool are even going to (if they have not already) score with a fart! They are just so lucky...

I think Carragher's tackle on Drogba was a foul.

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Joe Cole's and Makelele's aerial kicks! Ridiculous... they're paid to kick it! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Torres should have scored. He was bad.

Anyway... if I made a bet I'd still put my money on Liverpool. In my opinion they can't be compared with Chelsea man-for-man in terms of quality but Benitez has created a great team (and the Scousers can shut up!) (but please Rafa why do we have to see Kuyt play as a second RB when Liverpool defend? It's annoying!) and all of them are hard-workers and play with their heart! They are also going to have luck on their side (it happened once it won't happen again) and probably even the ref... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

PS Great diving header! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

(But Norway has some very good skiiers!)

Here's my favourite so far in the BBC text commentary lead-up to today's Barca-Manchester game:

(viewers/readers were asked to translate typical MU fan chants into Catalan)

1432: ""Vamos a anotar uno más que usted!" - "We're gonna score one more than you!"

"Cantar una canción para usted?" - "Shall we sing a song for you?"

And my personal favourite... "Adonde el oh donde mi emparedado de la gamba ha ido?" - "Where oh where has my prawn sandwich gone?""
