Both the fish doll and I would be THRILLED with Giuseppe Rossi coming to Milan!  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

Hopefully management is looking at someone young, talented (and hopefully ITALIAN) for the midfield and defense too!

I wish milan bought the ne young talented talian defender but the problem is finding him. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Oli-Rossi swap reported..... Rossi is a milanfan i think but again villareal will be in UCL and MANU can alos be a problem

If Ferguson didn't want him, means a lot to me!

I dont know if he's what we need.

We need tall strikers who are very good with e header; strikers who even go back and defend in corner kicks.

We all saw against Jueve, how weak we are on air balls. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Fergie can certainly pick out the good players but that does not mean that Rossi is not good. Maybe it's his style that SAF did not like, I don't think it suits to the EPL.

having 4 top strikers its gonna be difficult to handle since we will play with one striker next season if dinho comes.
borriello or rossi for next season?
i prefer rossi but borriello would make more sence cause hes an in-box striker

IMO Fergie never had a special eye on strikers anyway..

The Gattuso leaving rumor is from Reppublica which is, I believe, a newspaper run by rivals of Berlusconi. Take it as you will. The article hypothesizes that Rino may want the motivation of playing in another country and lists Bayern and MU as possible places.

There's an interview of Huntelaar appearing in an Italian paper in which he states that he loves Italy. I hope Galliani & Braida are paying attention!

Gosh. There's all kinds of stuff in the media today related to Milan and transfers. The sources are the usual 3 sports papers (Gazzetta, Corriere, and Tuttosport), Controcampo, etc.

Here's what's being said:

* Valencia is after Seedorf, who's not happy about Ronaldinho's pending arrival
* Pirlo and Gattuso aren't happy about the wage issue if Ronaldinho comes and want more pay or they'll leave
* Bayern and several English teams are after Gattuso
* Inter are asking Genoa about buying their half of Borriello as a bargaining chip in the Ronaldinho sweepstakes; Milan are asking Cagliari about their half of Acquafresca
* Van Basten (on holiday in Como) stating that Ronaldinho isn't what Milan needs. He thinks Milan needs a group of 23-24 year old talents

So....silly season is officially upon us.

Don't dismiss the news about Gattuso leaving that easily. According to the gazzetta Gattuso and pirlo wan'ts better wages. We might not be able to offer Gattuso what he wants and he hasn't been that great this season to demand a raise.
