i have no problem keeping ronaldo for another year.

but for the love of god we need to get a WC forward.

i cant fucking take another season with the most useless set of strikers. whether it be because of injury related, spychological, old age, not having enough sex !! i'm gonna go crazy with these guys.

remeber the good old days when crespo, sheva, pippo and even gila were scoring goals.

we need a WC forward, our go to guy, our own ibra.

pato might be that guy one day, but i'm not expecting it by next season.

QUOTE
Official - Ronaldo tendon severed
Wednesday 13 February, 2008

Milan have now confirmed Ronaldo has completely severed the tendon in his left knee, effectively ending his career.

The striker collapsed as he jumped to reach a cross during tonight’s 1-1 draw with Livorno and immediately the situation seemed to be serious.

His teammates waved for medical staff and called for a substitution as he was stretchered off the field in tears.

Ronaldo was rushed to a local hospital to undergo tests and initial reports suggesting he had completely severed the tendon were confirmed on the official Rossoneri website.

Ronnie has already suffered this type of injury twice before in 1998 and 2000, but that was in his right knee.

As there was talk of a possible retirement at the end of this season, if the diagnosis is confirmed then it is likely Ronaldo’s career is over.

An injury of this type requires a player to be out of action for between nine months and a year.

Ronaldo was one of the greatest strikers to ever live, to see his career end like this... its something no player should have to go through

Ronaldo deserved to go out with a bang, not like this.

Shame for Roni, it's obivously horrible for him on a personal level.

Annoying for Milan as we've had a striker on our books who we expected a fair bit from, and he's done nothing due to constantly being injured.

If he decides to go on, he will be back around January 2009! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

It's sad how our Ka-Pa-Ro lasted just two matches (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Only if he could won the CHL with Milan and then I wouldn't care if he was injuried for 2 yrs and end his career.

One of the greatest player ever to play football is ending his career without a CHL trophy! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Am I the only one who fears these injuries and the possible retirement will lead Ronaldo into a deep depression...?!
