12 mill for Pirlo....are you trying to tell me that Pirlo is cheaper than Darren Bent, than Anderson??? Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

If Kaka commands 80 mill....then a CL -WC winner demands at least 40 mill. Especially, when he is the best in his position.

The way things are .. Milan would sell Kaka' before they sell Pirlo. He is the dynamo of the team, priceless IMO.

Yep. Milan would never sell him untill ,maybe, he's 32-33 like Albertini. Madrid is in dreamland.

ONE ON ONE WITH PIRLO
link

Throughout my football career I have always tried to improve day by day. I think that it's also important to know how to stop the move of the opponents and I always try to do that to help the team." - THE WORDS OF PIRLO -

MILANELLO - Here are the words said today by Andrea Pirlo, who gave an interview to Milan Channel at around one o'clock from Milanello.

"Throughout my football career I have always tried to improve day by day. I think that it's also important to know how to stop the move of the opponents, it's not really my style, but I always try to do that to help the team. I've been working on this for many years, always trying to improve.

For many years I have played up front, then I found this new allocation which I like a lot and don't want to change anymore.

On Tuesday in Donetsk against Shakhtar we played an important match, very delicate and it was fundamental that we unblocked the result quickly because those three points will be very useful for the qualification.

In my life family is very important: my wife has been very important to me in my growth process, on a human level as well as a professional one. Then on Sunday for me the match does not end at San Siro, because when I arrive home I change and keep playing with my son Niccoló.

The night of 9 July in Berlin for the World Cup final I was agitated, even though it did not show. For me it was the most important match of my life and it gave me a huge emotion, I felt like a hurricane inside me. In Athens it was the same, all victories are important because they gave you a unique happiness.

In the summer of 2006 there was a rumour of a possible move to Real Madrid, it was a strange thing because the Calciopoli scandal had just erupted, in the end I opted to remain here."

(following are quotes from the 'breaking news section)

MILANELLO - Here are the words said by former star striker Roberto Baggio in esteem of Andrea Pirlo in a telephone intervention during the TV program 'Segni Particolari': "I give my compliments to Andrea. I'm very happy for him. He's a fundamental player both for Miland and for Italy."

MILANELLO - Roberto Baggio continued: "Andrea has shown all his talent and his value. When we played together everything depended on him. He's always had the great merit of knowing beforehand what could happen in a move. His game vision, what he's able to build, make him a world-class player. Andrea has something you don't see very often."

pirlo is unarguably the best central midfielder in the world. no one can do what he does, for milan and italy he is a key player. look at the 2006 world cup, almost evey play italy was going forward pirlo was involved in it, stealing the ball for opposing attackers and even goin back for goal kicks and bringing the ball up. it was remarkable. he was and is the structure of any team he plays for. no other central midfielders do or are capible of doing what he does. gerrard, fabergas, lampard, ballack, all great players in there own way and contribute to their teams and continue to stand out but none have the capibility of our remarkable pirlo. Not to mention being one of the most underrated players out there, becuse he is a simple person and plays for the love of the game and doesnt cave into marketin and advertisements and endoursements to promote his image. He plays for himself, for his team and for all the milanistas out there. a true class act and a king amongst kings.

(specially for Captain Jack)

There's a Pirlo article in the December issue of Forza Milan. In the article, Nesta and Bonera each ask him 5 questions. Here's a translation of my favorite:

Q (Nesta asks): Andrea, what do you say when you lose regularly at videogames?

A (Pirlo responds): But what the h....did you say? You're a fine one to ask, given that you know well that it's exactly the opposite! Whether in ritiro or during free moments, the one who rarely wins is you, not me!
