QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Sep 30 2007, 03:08 PM) I don't know what is missing from this side really. I mean it was almost the same team that took the pitch in Athena. But there is something missing .. The goal we conceded was down to Bonera's poor marking really .. It is clear that we face problems against these weaker teams as the defend with 8 men and then counter attack with 3 or 4 men ... I don't know, I just hope the team can get it together as they did last year and get back to climbing the table. What is missing is passion and drive from some of the players who see that they are a goal down and still stroll around the field like we are 5-0 up (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) As for some of the subs who rarely get chances but still when they do get a chance they still don't give their 100% to the cause. That just p!sses me off to no end. As for Catania's goal, first of all, we never should have allowed them that much space to counter, secondly I think it was more Cafu's fault, wasn't he the one that backed off the catania player who made the cross? As for the whole weaker team thing, it's not a sure fire theory since so far we haven't faced any big teams, and to tell you the truth I'm not looking forward to it really, because with the way we're playing we will get beat pretty easily

It was Kakha, he backed off to cover the near post while Kalac got back up to cover his goal. Milan against a bigger team is a different Milan IMO.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Sep 30 2007, 03:09 PM) We lack of Dida, Maldini and Ronaldo. That's the point. And it is still not an excuse,...it's just our reality. That we depend on people like Maldini who won against nature and still plays,...OMG.--- (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Dida right now won't be of any help really since he's probably playing worse then Kalac atm. Imo Ronaldo is the one we're missing the most our strikers haven't even gotten One single goal in the league! How sad is that??!! QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Sep 30 2007, 03:11 PM) One word describes todays game - embarrassing (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Let's hope galliani has nightmares about this as it was him who said "we are fine as we are" Nope, he'll come out with an excuse that we were tired because we played a midweek game. Come on I_Rossoneri, you should know the drill by now (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Sep 30 2007, 03:15 PM) Actually I was jumping like crazy !!!!! That was our vendetta! Nothing to do with anything else, but to kill off the demon of Istanbul (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Please don't bring Athena in to this ... It was a special night, if not for u, for me personally. Of colurse Athens was as special for me too. I'm not devaluing that win, it was probably one of our most special wins because of who it was against. BUT with that said, we all knew that once we won that cup Galliani wouldn't make the VERY NECCISARY changes he needed to make in the team. And surprise surprise that is what happened
