QUOTE
Those that are convinced with the idea that Berlusconi is gradually losing interest in Milan are wrong. Recent events prove it: disappointed by the second consecutive season, the President has decided to take a firm hand in commanding the company. Many Cycles have been done in his 23 years of his presidency. It happened when he chose to personally appoint sacchi (no professional experience) and signed one of the great Milan legends, Gullit; happened in 91 when he put Capello, a scout, to become a manager; it happened in 97 when reproposed Capello after the disasters of Tabarez and Sacchi, happened in 2001 when he fired the embarrassing Zaccheroni and fixed it by calling to Tassotti and Maldini to save the season.

Today as well, the President has decided to fix Milan's problems again in person by delegating Galliani from various key decisions despite his season long appearance as President of the Council. So that he could confirm the release of Ancelotti, which surely disheartened Galliani publicly, who was in favor of continuing the relationship for another year.

He has also personally taken responsibility for sending Kakà to Real Madrid. Furthermore, has also announced the potential of a Pirlo transfer. All decisions more or less acceptable, but taken from him in person. Just as was the decision to assign the bench to Leonardo. All decisions in line with a new project aimed at cutting costs and building a team younger, less expensive and more hungry. The only decision taken is not in this line is the total trust given to Ronaldinho, but the president is known, to be betting with a heavy risk. After having been the inventor of football business, he now wants to reduce his role financially in the team. Who knows if this time the results arrive.

A nice article from telombardia.

Very true. Lets not blame Galliani because all the major decisions have been surely made by berlu. Whether or not it ruins milan, time will tell. Most likely Milan will improve and I'm sure he will invest somwhere down the road in the next 5 years.
