Calderón Accuses Pérez Of Sabotaging Kaká Signing

Real Madrid President Ramón Calderón has hit out hard again, this time his attack aimed at ex-President Florentino Pérez who he accused of deliberately sabotaging the summer signing of Kaká for Real Madrid.

According to reports published in Spanish daily ‘Marca’ the exec claimed that Florentino Pérez contacted Berlusconi and ‘warned’ him to renew Kaká’s contract quickly or Calderón would bring him to the White House.

Calderón, in the view of Spanish radio station COPE, sees the close friendship between Pérez and Berlusconi as being the source of the sabotage.

In this scenario Florentino Pérez thereby dynamited Ramón Calderón’s flagship promise in the Real Madrid elections.

Berlusconi denied that AC Milan would sell Kaká and that Ramón Calderón’s promises weren’t keeping the Italian up at night.

"The Real Madrid President, Ramón Calderón, doesn’t disturb my rest with his promises about Kaká. Calderón’s dream is just that: a dream.

"I’m sure he’ll stay with Milan", he commented at the Rossoneri Xmas dinner.

If the COPE and ‘Marca’ allegations turn out to be true, then things could get ugly at an-already shaken White House.

As yet neither Calderón nor Florentino Pérez has commented on the allegations, but word is expected soon.
