Alberto Gilardino hopes that Milan will show more trust in him in the future, stated the player’s agent.

The world champion signed a contract extension until 2011 in September, but has recently been paired with a summer move after struggling for much of this season with the Rossoneri.

“It would have been great if Milan had shown more trust in the player, it certainly would have helped him,” said the striker’s agent Beppe Bonetto.

“I think it’s too early to talk about the future, but we will have to discuss it with the club’s management.

“For the time being, I do not think that he will leave, he recently signed a new contract. In any case, we have no certainties on his future,” added the former Parma man’s representative.

Gilardino, who joined Milan in the summer of 2005 for £17m, has been linked with Juventus, where he might move in a swap deal including David Trezeguet, but is also a reported target for Fiorentina.

“I don’t think it would be fair to list our preference between these clubs, when the time comes we will evaluate the situation and make our decision,” concluded Bonetto.

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Mar 24 2007, 11:54 PM)
Why is everyone calling Gila a diver ?! He isnt a diver at all ! Just cuz he dived in the Celtic game, doesnt justify callung him an all round diver.

I admit it was obvious and he should have had a bit more sense and fell right when he was closer to any of the Gkeeper or defender .. But not as obvious as he made it look like. When Pippo dives, u never know if it was a bluff or for real; cuz his size is so small and he is basically fragile in the 18 ard box .. But he has experience and that plays it's part in helping him act a bit (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Hence, Super Pippo (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

cause he had clear intention of diving.  Pippo you cant tell, so you can't actually open a case with him.  Same with C ronaldo, he maybe a diver but you can't clearly justify it.  Gilardino clearly dived intentionally and deserved a red card for his act.  I am just a hater of divers because of cronaldo mainly, and how he he has stolen so many games.

Just because the other 2 you mentioned are professionals in the trade doesn't mean that they don't intend to dive like Gila did.

And btw, you can't give a player that dives a red card, the rule says it's a yellow so that shouldn't even be a factor.

Calling Gila a diver is wrong since he rarely does it and his ametour one against Celtic shows this.

And when you look at the replay ytou can see that he did not intend to dive when he was trying to get the ball, otherwise he would have gone down when he was actually touched, but when he realised he wasn't going to get the ball he decied to try and make something out of it
