The news was published today on News of the World.
An Argentinean in the middle of a team full of Brazilians? It seems like it may happen. It's today's news that Carlo Ancelotti's Milan have a heavy interest for Gabriel Heinze, left-sided defender of Manchester United who no longer seems to be in Sir Alex Ferguson's plans, as the Scot has eyed Owen Hargreaves, Gareth Bale and Joey Barton as new transfer targets. Heinze is apparently so well seen by Milan that rumours published on News of the World have it that Adriano Galliani is ready to offer the Red Devils a sum of 8 million pounds, equal to about 12 million euros. Following the defender, among others, is also his old team Paris-Saint Germain. source: http://www.goal.com/en/articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=197873 |

Milan move for Heinze (channel4.com)
Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze has confirmed that he could be set for a switch to Milan. “I know there has been an offer but that is all I know at the moment,†explained the Argentine international. “I’m not going to let it worry me. All of my physical problems have gone and I’m fit to play.†It is thought that the Rossoneri have tabled a bid of around £4m for Heinze, but United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to demand at least £6m to take him away from Old Trafford in the January transfer window. |
