Is Gila good enough for Milan?
Yes - he will be back on form after he gets his christmas present [ 26 ] ** [78.79%]
Not at the moment - needs to go on loan to 'feel' a goal [ 5 ] ** [15.15%]
No - he has past his prime and we should give Borriello a chance [ 2 ] ** [6.06%]

Some of you guys, I think, just don't understand what football's all about. There are different sorts of strikers. Gila is what we call a pole player, that means that he can receive long balls when he's alone up front, keep it till midfield arrives, pas it, and then get into position for striking. If you watch him play you'll see that he's incredibly good at keeping the ball with him, even when there are 3 defenders pulling from all directions. He's very good at striking, doesn't need a lot of space and in his Parma time he made quite a few athletic goals. ( bicycle kick )

When he was 21 he scored 23 goals in serie A in season 2003/2004
The next season he scored 23 goals, again. Considering that Parma doesn't score that much, this is very very good.

In his first year at Milan, he scored 17 goals, playing next to Sheva who scored 18, even tough Gila did not start every game, because of Pipo's comeback.
Besides it's a fact that in Italy most players, strikers in particular, develop longer and have the peek in their career later then in other countries: Iaquinta and Toni for instance.

So if you think Gila's not good enough, and you'd rather want Eto'o, then go for Barcelona or something, because Gila is the man for Milan!!
