Gabbia to Villareal almost done. Loan without option On the surface this doesn't make any sense. We should be selling him outright. But apparently Villareal needed a defender and this is probably being done to sweeten the Chukwueze deal. Hopefully Gabbia has a good season and we can sell him off for around 10m next summer. |

We're getting rid of dead weight too. Rebic is basically out. Same for Ballo-Toure. Probably a couple others to follow suit too.
Listen, I love Maldini, but the way this mercato has been done just shines on some of the mistakes he's been making. Giving contracts for unworthy players, losing players on free... This management seems much more efficient with the way it's been carrying out business. |
