Serie A 2006/07 - day 2

Parma vs. Milan

Sunday, 17th September

20:30 (IT Time), 19:30 (UK Time)

The match after the AEK one.
It's always difficult to play in Parma stadium. Always a good team

I expect a win. 0-1 Oli.

PS: Next weeks are not easy - after AEK match: Parma (17), Ascoli (20), Livorno (24), and then the match vs. Lille. (http://www.acmilan.com/InfoPage.aspx?id=27905)

Well yeah, he had great chemistry with Ricky and Sheva, but the point is, it doesn't matter if he gives assists or does tricks, he should score more. And when there's Pippo out there who scores nearly everytime he plays, the decision to pick one between them is easy.

Yes I know, but the guy needs the chance to play, he can't dropped of our first team. Yes Pippo has started impeccably this season, but what if Pippo got injured in the middle of the season (god forbid)? Then what would happen? Gila would be unreliable since he wouldn't be inform because of not enough playing time. And what will happen when Pippo retires and we don't have him anymore for the big CL games, that's why I think Gila should play more and Pippo should be his sub. Gila needs to play in the CL in order for him to get used to it.

And yes pippo scores more but Gila scores a lot also. Ok so he has a so-so season last year. But lets not forget that Gila has one of the best scoring records in serie A for these past 3 seasons. And I'm sure that Gila will score a lot for us this season.

I'm not saying he shouldn't play, I'm saying Pippo is far above him and much more reliable, so he and Oliveira should be in the first line-up. Oh, and when Pippo will retire things will be completely different since we don't know what's going to happen since then.
