Exactly. I still see Gallas as an ideal replacement for Stam, but Chelsea are arrogant and I'm glad that the Milan management haven't agreed to meet their silly demands.

Drogba Spotted Meeting With AC Milan

In what is probably a slight violation of Jose Mourinho’s club rules, Didier Drogba was apparently spotted meeting with AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliano in a Milan restaurant on Monday. Could be that he was just there on a quick holiday during the international break, but Italian paper Gazzetta Dello Sport claims they met for 15 minutes and that Milan could be ready to table a massive bid for Droggers (as his friends call him).

If true, it seems unlikely that Mourinho would let him go at this stage in the season. After some initial doubts about staying in England, Drogba has adapted nicely to the Premiership and ended up as the league’s top assist provider last season and was widely hailed for his spectacular performances. He’s also the perfect battering ram foil and outlet for a lot of Chelsea’s players, doing the dirty work that Shevchenko and and others avoid. In essence, he’s the answer to the question “What do you get a Galatico squad that has everything?”.
