Could this be Allegri's swan song?

If he does not win this one I can see him getting the sack. Inexcusable decisions in all of the games so far with the Bologna result flattering him.

If we want to achieve something decent in the CL this season then we have to win the group, but if losing this game means Allegri going, then I'd hope for a loss at this point

Ok, no Monto.

That leaves a f*ck off giant creative hole. He's the only creative mid we have, other than Urby.

I guess it would have to be De Jong and...God who beside him out of Flamini, Muntari, Ambro, Noce, Strasser Constant? Who of them is even fit?

Wow, other de Jong and Monto and Urby our midfield doesn't even get to the level of mediocre.

btw, regarding our injury list, thissite claims to have an up to date list of all Serie A's injured players.

If this is to be believed, we have 10 out, including Boateng, Pazzini and Mexes along with Muntari and others.

Curiously enough for those crying about our injury 'crisis' Inter have 9 out, Lazio have 7, Palermo 8, Roma 8. In fact the only top side with less than about 5 out injured, according to that site, are Juve with 3 out.

It's not really a deep rooted problem with Milan at all.

Even in Spain, based on that site; Barca have 6 out, Granada have 7, albeit those two are the worst.

This actually seems to be more of a problem in Italy than Milan specifically. Any ideas why?

You really consider Urby as creative? I don't even see an ounce of creativity in him. He's a winger, he can cross very well from what I've seen when he's given the chance to actually play in his preferred position and can do some decent things when he's released into space. These are all things which further emphasize that he should not be played anywhere other than somewhere on that left side, whether in a more defensive or attacking role remains to be seen.

Monto, Muntari and Strasser are out from the midfield. Prince, Mexes and Pazzini are all fit and called up for the game, the only concern is Prince's hand.

The injury problems have spiked for both Milan and Inter while they've gone down by huge margins for Juve. Milan though is still the undisputed club in this unfortunate race. There has to be a problem somewhere in the medical and fitness infrastructure of this club. and I have absolutely no doubt about this fact. Other sides such as Napoli have kept their injury problems to really low levels for years now as can be seen from the injury chart posted by Gazzetta.
