I don't see it this way. To me this is clearly an alleviation of responsibility.

Cassano saying we can't win coz there's no Ibra or Silva, so he's bailing. Even if this is the reason and not that he wants more money....my question would be what's he in for then?

If he's not good enough to take over the slack when someone like Ibra leaves, then he has no business dreaming of big titles. You earn them...you don't walk into a strong team...and then hope for a free pass to the podium. Champions don't do that.

Actually I think it is to his credit that instead of simply walking into an empty slot without earning it, he objects to the club selling its best players (players keeping him out the team) and leaves himself.

I actually feel that has more credibility than remaining with a failing club just because he gets to play more.

I don't mean to sound petty or cheap, but could I then post the same argument against the vitriol you spouted for the Rangers players who bailed?

They were leaving a 'sinking ship' too weren't they. Except it isn't about just what they 'want'...but also what they 'owe'. And in my book, Cassano still has a lot of unpaid dues to Milan. We adopted a pariah, and almost restored his reputation. Stood by a serious illness, and 6 months later, he actually bit the hand that raised him off the garbage heap.

Difference is he hasn't bailed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) he's actually taken the harder route. They took the easy way out, he could have stayed, picked up a paycheque and guaranteed a place up front. Different kettle of fish in my eyes.

Well I don't understand how you're disagreeing. Perhaps your reason for supporting Milan are different, but for me we shouldn't disagree because:

1. This is almost exactly the same as what RvP has done. In a way worse, because RvP can claim he left to a much stronger team. Inter are not exactly the Man Utd to our Arsenal are they?

2. Put this into context, how would you feel if any of your Rangers players had not only upped and left ship, but actually joined Celtic.
