What a terrible time for a derby. Juve have to be feeling th pressure, and if they do by any miracle lose points, we have to be ready to overtake them, and that means winning this derby at all costs.

I really do hope that Allegri takes his head out of his @ss and plays the best possible line-up that he has available and that means

Aqui--VB--Nocerino
Boateng
Ibra--Cassano

I have no doubts that with that line-up we could play to our best capacities with that line-up.

To answer this question:

did we or did we not loose many points against the big ones?

Problem is league games rarely get as big as this derby or our 6-pointer with Juve. because as I said even if you lose to Juve in the first half of the season you still have time to recover. and technically a game with Juve or Inter means as much to the table as a game with Palermo or Napoli. most of our games with Roma, Inter and Juve are big only by name. especially when you think how much Roma and Inter have sucked. there's two exceptions which I mentioned above, tonight's derby (result remains to be seen) and the 6-pointer against Juve (drew, but robbed of a win).

Unlike league games are the CL games especially the knockout stages where one false steps means you're out. I think our games with Barca were big, so were our games with Arsenal.

They are technically speaking wrong, but I can see where they come from.

So you can ask any Italian Milan fan if we did good this year against big opposition, I don't doubt there will be many different answers.

1) Quite the contrary; we beat Inter home & away last season yet I remember the importance of those games being questioned by some here because Inter were shitty. you consider games with big name teams big no matter their form. but some don't. like you said different people have different perceptions of a "big game".

2) Not exactly bad either, given that we had some key absentees.

You see, we could go on and on, it will never end. you can always question our record in big games and I can always point out our injury problems.
