Stam was one of a kind defender and I don't think Gallas can actually replace him, but he comes close. At least he doesn't get injured as often. But I still think we should consider some other options as well...

Daniel Van Buyten could be the perfect signing. While he is not as versetile as Stam, he is one of the only defenders that is very tall and very powerfull.


Rui Costa was the dream sub for Kaka and now he is gone... Here are my candidates for his replacment:

Yes, you heard me right. He is going to waste in MU and he could be a solid "replacment" for Sheva. Just take a look at his goalscorng record:

Eto'o
As much as I hate to say it, Eto'o could be a solid option due to lack of quality strikers. He is fast and can dribble past defenders, something Sheva was doing for Milan.

Fernando Torres
Ok, Torres is godlike when it comes to technique and speed. There is no doubt about that, but he is not quite as lethal of a striker as Sheva was and that's my only concern. But he is only 22 and is only getting better and better.

Your thoughts on these players? Any suggestions?

I personally dont think, we will buy any strikers.  Carlo will stick with inzaghi and gilardino for as long as he can.  He will improve the defence first, which is most important.  Then maybe he will consider buying a striker.  Reyes would be a nice buy i personally think, torres.  Adriano is good, but i think he'd be a burden to milan.

Now that Silvio is back don't worry...He'll find a great attacker just as he did when asked to replace MVB,Weah (Well not Silvio alone, but he gives me confidence (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )
