Let's get back on topic..
Anyone noticed Marseille's games lately? I watched them 3 times up till now and must say I'm impressed. Their defense is manybe the biggest issue as they look occasionaly very week. But other then that - Eric Gerets (their head coach) is using something similar Van Basten did this year with Holland. 30-20 minutes from time, when they allready lead with 1 goal, he takes out a midfielder and sends in a striker. Usually after that Zenden enters. And his system does work, even better then MvB's. I'm curious to see if they can compete with Lyon and Bordeaux. Up till now they are the most efficient Ligue 1 team,.. |
