pirlo is unarguably the best central midfielder in the world. no one can do what he does, for milan and italy he is a key player. look at the 2006 world cup, almost evey play italy was going forward pirlo was involved in it, stealing the ball for opposing attackers and even goin back for goal kicks and bringing the ball up. it was remarkable. he was and is the structure of any team he plays for. no other central midfielders do or are capible of doing what he does. gerrard, fabergas, lampard, ballack, all great players in there own way and contribute to their teams and continue to stand out but none have the capibility of our remarkable pirlo. Not to mention being one of the most underrated players out there, becuse he is a simple person and plays for the love of the game and doesnt cave into marketin and advertisements and endoursements to promote his image. He plays for himself, for his team and for all the milanistas out there. a true class act and a king amongst kings.
