Back to business as usual, a must win for us seeing as Juve have Roma (although I can't see them losing points against Roma, they're terrible atm)

Vam Bommel could be back, but Nocerino and Boateng are a doubt according to FI

I'd personally go with this if Nocerino and Boateng are still not fit:

Abate--Mexes--Thiago--Zambro
Aqui--VB--Ambro
Robinho
Ibra--Pato

If both Nocerino and Boateng are out, then I can't see Allegri playing all of Seedorf, Aquilani and Robinho in midfield.

Ambro should do for this one without too much hassle. If he does manage to somehow mess up then I have no further words to add to how I feel about him playing regularly for us

The three midfielders in the absence of Noccerino and Boateng should be Aquilani-MVB-Seedorf A good fotmation to try in this match is: 4 3 3 Pato and Robinho should explore the flanks while Ibra be the targe man/CF. We can later switch to another formation depending on the score line. I also hope El Shwaary get some playing time in this show.

Yep. Line-up according to Mediaset:

Abbiati
Abate - T. Silva - Yepes - Antonini
Aquilani - Van Bommel - Seedorf
Boateng
Pato - Ibrahimovic

Personally, I'd play Boateng as LCM and Robinho as trequartista. And Mexes should be a starter now!

What's up with Nocerino?

That formation should be fine, and Yepes is ok imo,Mexes was great in the CL,and he can be the replacement for Nesta! But,any of them would do fine now.We should be able to win this easily hopefully ;p

I'm a little sad Seedorf is covering for antonini's runs but i like how yepes was picked over Bonnera. I think Pato + Ibra should be enough to tests Gillet's goal.

I don't like how Yepes was picked over Mexes though. Mexes should be starting in the absence of Nesta, He made a great comebak on Tuesday, he needs to start playing regularly so he can get back to top form, our defence constantly being shuffled around is what's making us so shaky

Mexes has been out for so long now .. Naturally he will be gradually inserted into the first team, especially when you consider he has barely played with us and is not insync with the rest.

Otherwise, I hope he impresses further and helps us achieve our target.

Agreed, but he'll only gain that if he's playing regularly again, and this is the time for that seeing as Nesta is injured

We need to go out swinging in the second half. Make that terrible decision a non-event because if not, than that is going to be the focus of the game. And it would be nothing short of fair if that was the case.

Terrible decision

Bad half :/

Aquilani has been bad on covering, and Abate is looking really bad on that side too. We're not supplying our strikers any balls,Ibra has to single handedly go and get the ball for himself.Boateng was trying the hardest out of all.

Yellow it was.

Another dreadful performance by Aquilani. Had a clear shot, missed completely, could cross freely, yet hit the only player even remotely near, covered to little space and got an early yellow. I can't stand his constant up's and down's. That's why the guy wasn't good enough for the other teams.

Also...Pato...is he even playing? I really expect more of him. Hopefully he comes out and scores.

And about the officiating, I know, it was a mistake, but bad officiating costed us a few times as well this season. It's not that we're Inter.

Maybe because Aquilani is heading for red and doing nothing creatively as well.

What a lethargic attitude by Milan! We need someone to change this quickly or we're gonna loose points.

But Allegri looks comfortable...

Don't think so because Pato wasn't interfering with play

Still it was a gift imo

Having said that, both Inter and Juve have been given some gifts this season so I'll accept this one graciously

Terrible performance, but I kind of saw it coming with that terrible line-up. Neither Aquilani nor Seedorf can cover spaces and tackle, and Van Bommel is not a young boy. Add to that the dreadful Antonini-Yepes/Bonera combo, and you've got yourself a milkshake.

I'm convinced now: we need a LB more than we need a trequartista or anchor. Antonini/Taiwo/Zambrotta simply don't cut it.

This again was a match Pippo Inzaghi could have made the difference. We need such players, players like Inzaghi and El Shaarawy as long as Pato and Robinho regress - which is the case now.

Some of you say his attitude was right, but he did not get the service. Hell Pato ain't Gilardino. Pato should make more decisive runs, dribbles, shots. He just stood there and waited.

Once again, Emanuelson, Antonini and Amelia proved how average they are. Next time someone suggest they should get the nod in favor of Seedorf, Zambrotta or Abbiati I'll laugh loudly.

One more thing - Aquilani was bad today. Milan was bad, but with Aquilani it's a bit different. He seems to be constantly fluctuating in form.

As a known Pato groupie I know my opinion won't count for much but I suspect that $#!tlegri has him playing the poacher role. Still no excuse for his peripheral involvement though

Yes. I believe the game against Barça didn't teach Allegri that we can't play with Aquilani-MvB-Seedorf in midfield, because we leave too much space for the opponent.

I apologize, but I think saying Inzaghi could have solved this match is a bit too much, you know, exaggerated.

Yeah, Boateng like. Life if full of bullshit though, so don't loose unnecessary strength.

As for Inzaghi, no, I did not wanna say he was the answer to all problems. But compared to the way Bonera, Emanuelson and Robinho made impact, Pippo would have done by far different. He'd provide another spark. We'll never know, maybe he'd broke his feet the minute he came in, maybe he'd miss three sitters, but maybe he'd also score. I'm only saying those "Bologna type matches" are matches made for Pippo to show up and not for Emo or the sorry @ss Robinho. After all, Pippo was scoring goals already in such matches while Allegri was collecting balls on the training ground with Arrigo Sacchi.

You're absolutely right bro. I still have this nasty habit of voicing my opinion before I clear it with you....sorry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
I was thinking that
1)Pato's ultra defined role isn't really that comfortable for him as yet and
2) Without service any and all poachers look like crap.

I see now the error of my ways and like Pato I need to work harder at getting my opinion aligned with yours. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Ok,sorry dad (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (might sound childish, but not seriously i'm sorry)

Btw,regarding the Pato thingy.First,he was playing a poacher role, and second he didn't get enough support, that's why it didn't work,so sorry Dru but in my opinion you are wrong. It is neither Pato's fault nor Allegri's fault.Well, maybe partially Pato's fault.
