OUR SUMMER

6/23/2009 8:13:00 PM

United States, Germany, Portugal and Spain: in these countries from 19 July to 25 August the 2009/2010 Milan team will exibit. Among these matches the Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi and the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy

(IMG:http://media2.acmilan.com/200703/6256_news.jpg)

MILAN - Here is the complete list of the friendlies, many of them truly prestigious, of our Rossoneri summer.

- Sunday 19 July 2009, Los Angeles, Friendly: LOS ANGELES GALAXY-MILAN

- Wednesday 22 July 2009, Atlanta, World Football Challenge 2009: CLUB AMERICA-MILAN
- Friday 24 July 2009, Baltimore, World Football Challenge 2009: MILAN-CHELSEA
- Sunday 26 July 2009, Boston, World Football Challenge 2009: MILAN-INTER

- Wednesday 29 July 2009, Munich, Audi Cup: BAYERN MUNICH-MILAN
- Thursday 30 July 2009, Munich, Audi Cup: 2nd MATCH AGAINST MANCHESTER UNITED OR BOCA JUNIORS

- Saturday 8 August 2009, Lisbon, 2nd Edition Eusebio Cup: BENFICA-MILAN

- Friday 14 August 2009, Pescara, 9th Edition Trofeo Tim: MILAN-INTER-JUVENTUS

- Monday 17 August 2009, San Siro, 19th Edition Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi: MILAN-JUVENTUS

- Tuesday 25 August 2009, Madrid, 31st Edition Santiago Bernabeu trophy: REAL MADRID-MILAN

So many years I longed for a Milan-Madrid game and finally it's here, only with Kaka as a Madrid player. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) it'd be an interesting game nonetheless, especially if we managed to beat them star studded team.

Overall some tough tests ahead of us, so we better hurry if we want to sign some good players.

PLAYERS UNAVAILABLE FOR VARESE
7/11/2009
MILANELLO - These are the players who have already started the preparations at Milanello but aren't available for tomorrow's friendly in Varese: Christian Abbiati, Nelson Dida, Daniele Bonera, Massimo Ambrosini and Davide Di Gennaro.

I'm eager to see Zigoni and Abate.

Milan's Training Prior to Friendly

If you miss Nesta and Boriello, then you should take a look at this training season

They'll probably come on as subs. I'd have liked to see Cardacio get the start ahead of Rino. And I'm curious to see Barretta more then anything else

This would have been my preffered line-up

Kalac
Oddo--Nesta--Thiago Silva--Albertazzi
Seedorf--Cardacio--Flamini
Ronaldinho--Borriello--Viudez

But I guess Leo wants to start the players that will be starters during the season to get a real feel of things

Something positive to point out.

We had a midfield with 2 DMs and just Seedorf plus to box strikers playing upfront and we still managed 2 goals.

Somthing we wouldn't have done under Carlo not even if Kaka and Pato were playing instead of Dinho and Boriello/Pippo

I haven't seen the match yet as I'm going to watch the 2am re-run but I'll try to give a review of how all the guys performed

Sorry, I can't do that as I don't have any recording devices that can capture TV screenings...

Judging from the highlights you posted (and taking into consideration the gap in quality in the two sides), I found Ronaldinho looked brilliant, Seedorf looked like his usual self for friendlies, Kalac looked particularly horrible on that crossed FK (1:20 secs) into the clip.

And special mention to Pippo for being his usual predatory self in the box (getting on the score board twice) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

I know he used to go watch the KC Wizards team from the MLS, so somewhere near there, which is a pretty long way from Boston! THough he may have moved, I'm not sure.

I know. I just had no idea it's so hard to travel from the west to the east on such occasions. Milan don't go to America that often. I don't know.. I think it's worth it.

By the way tomorrow is the last day of training before departing to L.A. Heres something interesting, Galliani nor Braida will be making the trip. They are staying in order to finish the negotations with their targets. Now how many many negotiations we are currently in, I do not know. I'm guessing Fabiano, Hernanes, Bale, and maybe a few others. Evra and santos link that came up is the smoke screen for bale??? Hernanes could be a smoke screen as well who knows.

I hope not, I'd really like to see us get him, especially if he's as cheap as rumours are saying. I'd rather we forget Fabiano. Bale is good, but won't be cheap, I think there are cheaper options out there

He can't defend. He cares more about his hair being in place during a game than what he's doing on the pitch. No, not even close to Janku, even with Janku being 30+.

Nah, very average. It's even funnier that he's prbably Wales best player at the moment.. joke country. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I've been watching the 2nd half, Chelsea don't look all that good defensively, a lot of bad mistakes and spaces left wide open.

Its probably because they're still rusty or the Carlo curse traveling over there
