Only thing I know about Heerenveen is that our NT leftback Danijel Pranjic is one of the best players there. That said... I'm sure we can win them. IMO this is our weakest contender.

I want to see:

Dida
Zambrotta Nesta Bonera Antonini
Cardacio Gattuso
Ronaldinho
Sheva Borriello Pato

I know it's a long shot, and a little bit risky, but with the squad we have, we need to find multiple solutions and UEFA Cup could be a good place for this. Especially these group stage games.

Or this:

Dida
Zambrotta Nesta Bonera Antonini
Flamini Gattuso
Kaka Ronaldinho
Shevchenko Inzaghi

QUOTE
The coach [Ancelotti] has also revealed he may change his formation against the Dutch side as he looks to give some rest to those who have played many games.

"We will change the formation with respect to the one which played against Sampdoria," added Ancelotti.

"I will play those who have been resting. Ronaldinho will not play from the start. But Inzaghi and Shevchenko will start.

"Our main objective remains the Scudetto but the UEFA Cup is our second as it is a trophy we have never won before."

If we were really rotating... it would be something like this:

Inzaghi Shevchenko

No Puma please, for god's sakes, he can't even run anymore (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Dida
Zambrotta--Nesta--Bonera--Antonini
Flamini--Seedorf--Rino
Kaka
Sheva--Pippo

Nesta needs to be eased back in again, this will be lighter then Serie A and I think it will be a good platform for him to be eased back into things slowly.

Flamini and Rino next to Clarence, we can't possibly play with 3 defensive mids, that's just asking to get humiliated in the UEFA cup, thus reaching new lows in our famous Carlo Ancelotti era (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Kaka instead of Dinho in the whole because he plays better there then Dinho does and because he only played 45 on Sunday.

Sheva and Pippo will do the job no problem up there, and will leave Pato and Boriello for the league

Dutch fans in Heerenveen marking out over Milan's arrival. Clarence (for obvious reasons) and Dinho get the loudest welcomes.

oops, forget about Nesta not being included, so that only leaves us with Maldini or Favalli for the CB position, becuase we KNOW that Carlo would never play Darmian, so I think we're in to see Favalli in the middle because Maldini had to play at the weekend

This is exactly the kind of games Darmian should play in. With all due respect (towards Heerenven),if he's not even good enough to play against Heerenven then he's just a waste of space... We either field him in these games or let him go, there's nothing to think about here.

Antonini is better on the left.

Because Carlo is a mavrick, and he likes to stay on the dangerous side of life (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Probably because he likes p!ssing people off

Yeah maybe he likes p!ssing people off.

Antonini prefers the left and Zambrotta the right but Carlo thinks otherwise.

does carlo enjoy watching milan play 70% of the match in our half? if this was any other manager, with the players that we have on this team...this match could have been a thumping victory for milan. instead we cater WAY TOO much to players like emerson..

this is just ugly.

Pato and Dinho warming up

Seedorf needs to be in that midfield 3, preferebly instead of Emerson, we can't keep the ball for more then 30 seconds, then we lose it again and win it again and lose it again, and the cycle goes on. We need someone in there that can control the ball (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Sheva and Pippo are barely getting a lookin up there, there is no service to the forward, Sheva has to go down near the center circle to even touch the ball and Kaka is practically playing as a wing back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
