Hi!

Just want to air a few things out:

- This is a forum. That means that we're discussing things here. It's possible that someone else might have conflicting views to yours - please deal with this in a reasonable manner. Insulting other members because their view is different to yours will result in a ban, no second chances (I think the rules define 'insult' quite nicely).

- I know that I've been fairly relaxed when it comes to enforcing the rules. That's mainly because I'm a pretty laid back guy and not much offends me - but some people seem to be taking advantage of this and that's no good. It's a pain trying to scan every post to see if it's filled with insults, swearwords, or general nastiness. Please do us all a favor and don't post it in the first place. Repeat offenders will be banned.

- Despite the fact that we're all totally different people from all corners of the globe - we still share one thing in common - Milan. Please don't forget this. Everyone here wants Milan to do well, and have their own idea's on what's best for the team. I encourage discussion, even arguments, but please don't insult each other. Save that for the team's we're playing against in the match section.

- v2 is due 'soon'. (and it'll be worth the wait).

- I haven't forgotten about the Prediction League prizes - they're coming soon too.

- Any suggestions on how we can make thing's better? Let's hear them. PM'ing me asking to 'ban that ^&*$' isn't helpful.

I know this has been common practice for quite some time now. I also know that you've been on the receiving end to some degree, and have also been guilty of it in the past.

Going forward, I want this to be a place where all Milan fan's can discuss their opinions without having to endure pages of abuse afterwards. If you feel as though you've been a victim of this in the past, then what's the problem? You'll have nothing to worry about in the future.

For those a little hazy on the rules - they do stand for PM's as well.

If you've got a problem with another member, let a mod know (that's what they're there for). Don't take matters into your own hands ala Charles Bronson style.

I don't want to spend my (or the mods) time sorting out stupid arguments - if that's your thing there are plenty of other more suitable forums for that. Disagreements on forum material - fine, personal insults, not cool.

bigmac was suspended today.

Cheers for the feedback. Obviously I can't keep tabs on everything that goes on, but send me the details in a PM and I'll look into it. The rules are the same for everyone (at least, that's how I want it to be). Porty - I (temporarily) banned bigmac, and we both know why. I let him know too, and hopefully he'll be back with a different take on things. I'm not sure why the threads title is a source of amusement for you, but I think we all want the same thing here - a place where we can talk about Milan and get different views and opinions without being insulted for what we think. And it's not even as if it's the majority of users here - it seems like a small number want to try and ruin it for everyone. I'm going to do what I can to stop that.

Porty: People make mistakes, mods, bosses, and even silvio who you worship. Thats life, you just have to get used to the fact that people are not going to always be perfect. Mishie maybe had a bad day and you were getting on his nerves so he vented on you. he appologized so its done.

Mishie: No offence or anything but no need to keep building up the fire. Imo your a great mod and so is every mod in milanfan. I can understand you might have let out on porty but you should remember what position you are in. If a mod swears to a member and breaks the rules which he governs, that mod should no longer exist, do you know what i'm saying? If you feel you can't handle the modding position, you should resign.


just some small things i've learned over the years. Pay heed to them as you like.

Um, the owner of this place 'Mike' is out on an extended vacation, so I'm not sure the Mods have the privileges to upgrade you to 'Helper' status, Riv. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Until Mike gets back, I'll try and create threads for pics, in which you can post the images.
