The news was published today on News of the World.

An Argentinean in the middle of a team full of Brazilians? It seems like it may happen. It's today's news that Carlo Ancelotti's Milan have a heavy interest for Gabriel Heinze, left-sided defender of Manchester United who no longer seems to be in Sir Alex Ferguson's plans, as the Scot has eyed Owen Hargreaves, Gareth Bale and Joey Barton as new transfer targets.

Heinze is apparently so well seen by Milan that rumours published on News of the World have it that Adriano Galliani is ready to offer the Red Devils a sum of 8 million pounds, equal to about 12 million euros. Following the defender, among others, is also his old team Paris-Saint Germain.

i dont know if there is any truth in this rumour,
but I like it very much. He's a great defender. It's what we need, a strong one, a very good marker, hard tackling, and good in attack. Maybe not like Jankulovski in attack but 100% better in defence.
(By the way I think the weak point in our defence is Jankulovski, coz he leave's too much space in defence and after all he's not a good defender in general)

Janku always played asa winger, at Udinese he played as a winger and was VERY impressive, but w/ his national team, he was used as a fullback/winger.

Milan doesn't play with wingers .. Thus he is playing their .. I think he is doing pretty well, not the best of jobs .. But he can compete for that lb spot against any player (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

but he still doesn't have defensive skills that are required by a team like Milan.

ahh... Although I think he is good... I just don't have a good feeling about him joining Milan... It just doesn't seem right somehow... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

may i remind you that henze's natural position is CB, so of course desensive skills are of greatest importance when playing in that position. maybe his defensive game goes down a notch when you play on the left wing, especially because you are often more isolated by forwards and face more 1on1 play then when you play a more central role. heinze isnt having the greatest season but he is an argentinian international for a reason. Also Man u's defence has been amazing this season, actually ony of europes best so the fact that he cant make th starting 11 is no shame. And anyways i can think of a bunch of our defenders that are playing worse than him (ei simic, kaladze, nesta when he was fit, janku, cafu). i dont think he's old, probably late twenties so he can replace one of our retiring defenders.

i think redbabies was talking abt janku not heinze. nevertheless, heinze is a great defender, n it wud be really good to have him on board

Im sure we could use a strong and stable defender at the moment. Plus i think his name would look good on the back of a Milan jersey, so bring him on. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yeah .. He was rock solid for Argentina ! .. He would definately be the best option; he's experienced, intelligent, and can hold down two positions equally well defensivly .. Very good choice.

But I wouldn't get carried away, cuz it still isn't official (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Damit, i got an idea, pity its too late now (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

At the time when Galliani was away from football, we should have created a user under his name and invited him to the forum, as he did not have anything else to do anyways.
