QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Dec 15 2006, 09:54 PM) He is younger, and if he learn to grow up he has the talent to become close to Sheva, I think. But this is only if he learns how to mature. And anyway, isn't Cassano illegible for CL play? Still wouldn't say no to him coming here though, we need all the help we could get. And maybe, just maybe, having Paolo and Billy around him will be enough to help him overcome his issues

I never said heis Sheva's equal. Just that if he learns to mature he will come close since he has the talent. QUOTE (berenike_10 @ Dec 15 2006, 10:44 PM) I think not, he played with real 150 min in the champions league , so i think by the rules , he cannot play with ac milan Well still. We still need another forward and considering that we have been finding it the hardest to score in the league I wuld still appreciate any contribution he would guve. And he might be a trouble maker but with Paolo and Billy I think he will fit in perfectly at Milan and won't be any trouble. As Donandoni once said he's a simple kid and if you treat him well he will treat you the same. If anyone thought he would actually get his act together in a messed up Real locker room then you've got another thing coming. There is just no way that that would have ever happened. And Higuan will just be another wast of talent at Real just like Robinho, under Cappello there is no creative freedom. He wants his 2 strong strikers upfront that will be efficient and nothing else ie. why he insists with Van Nistelrooy and Raul

Well but i would prefer suazo , i mean we need a player thet can help us in the ucl , and also in the serie A, but well, seeing the lack of goals, well cassano could do , he;s a good creative striker, not as fast or strong as suazo, but he's good, i do really , but really hope they make some transfers in the winter market, i was reading also , in calciomercato , that lolito is waiting for an offer for Oddo, to be transfered this winter, so lets cross our fingers, and even the toes if possible..

I would like Suazo also. But I think they have different qualities, Suazo is lightning fast and strong, Cassano is creative as hell. I think we should get both (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Suazo would be better since he can play in the CL but he will cost more and we all know how much our management have been keen on spending lately (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Dec 15 2006, 05:13 PM) Well han ... What I ment was, he isn't his equal .. and we cant afford to sit and wait for a developing player, such as 'Cassano' to come about .. We dont need another Gila on our hands ... We need someone proven, plz ppl dont criticize when I say this, but R10 .. Would be the Sheva equal, not that we are missing a super star .. But because Milan depended so much on S7, that only a player of his calibure could fill the gap .. R10 has proven that he could handle the pressure. .. Not necessarily R10 ... We could go for any player who can give us confidence whenever he takes the pitch ! Waiting for a player to mature isn't what we need right now What rossoneri is trying to say is that we need a crack, not a youngster to develope.

Waiting for a player to mature isn't what we need right now I know what you're saying and I agree with you completely, but what top rate player is currently available for transfer. Let alone in January. It just won't happen. Cassano is not neccissarily 'still developing' what I meant is, if he matures then he will start putting his talent into good use. R10? we can all just forget about him, Barca will not let him go and I doubt we would be willing to pay for him the ammount of money Barca will ask for when he would be 28. It's just not logical

QUOTE (Portugal @ Dec 16 2006, 12:16 AM) For god sake, he INSULTED Capello! INSULTED! Then he said sorry... but you know... on big teams like Real, respect is a must. He's on his way out of Madrid. I hope he goes far away from San Siro. Del Piero is just a fat c_nt. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Trezeguet and Zlatan were the best for the 11 and everybody knows it. Last season Zlatan only had something like 6 goals, he was just plain AWFUL none of the Juve fans wanted him as the starter. DP actually saved their @ss a couple of times. Cappello is all about his favourites. Zlatan was one of them. He was probably having one of his worst season's last year and Cappello was still playing him, when DP was clearly the one in better form.

A player that the team could depend on, as we did with S7 .. Not any player, a player along the lines of R10 and S7 .. I don't think a player of that sort is available on the market, let alone this winter (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Cassano is great .. I like him, honestly, I secretly wanted him at Milan b4 he moved to Madrid. But with the situation we r in now, he wouldn't be a benift for our side. Cuz we already have problems w/ our attacking department ( we dont need anymore, probs .. Whatever they are (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) .. And, most important, he cant participate with Milan in CL. p.s. He is strongly linked w/ a move to Milan btw

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Dec 16 2006, 02:36 PM) Ohh Porto, quit it .. It's getting old reallllyyyyy old ... Since he turned a merda ... Tells u so much about a player that doesn't mind wearing the Badge that all the Juve players claimed to be so rightfully theirs, while he was supposed to be one of them, now look at him. What a disgrace, even if he scores 100 goals this season he'll still be a merda=sh1tI don't care about the team. I hate Barcelona but I like Ronaldinho as a player, so what? Everybody does that. Or don't you like any player from Roma, Inter, Juve? I like Totti, De Rossi... Stankovic, Zlatan... Nedved... the team doesn't mather. (I know what merd_ means... the italian way is the same as in portuguese (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

And it definately wasn't Zlatan. Assists or no assists. When I mention assists to defend Gila's contribution last season, everyone tells me he isn't there to assist, he's there to score. Oli is that type of forward but he is finding i difficuilt to adjust since he is used to Spain. What I'm saying is that I wouldn't say no to Cassano's possible arrivle that's all.

De Rossi is an amazing ball player and a Roma faithfull ... R10 comes w/ no introduction (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) But Zlatan ?? At Juve last season, I didnt like him much (u of all know the reasons (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ) .. He's a good player though .. But to play for Inter, with that Italian badge on his chest (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I mean what kind of a person is he, two things comes to mind, no self-esteem and zero honour ... Imagine we were in Juve's spot and Inter got the scudetto from us, would u think Kaka would play w/ that badge on his chest ?! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) wow .. capello loves tall forwards cuz of van basten all and the success he had. in fact when capello was at juve he was trying to mold ibra into van basten's imagne. it was pretty cool on tv they showed a marco goal then they compared it to an identical zlatan goal. but we all know va basten was a class act, a genius, and a milanista. zlatan is a cheap prostitute, who isnt even swedish, with no class, and will never be great, just a nother flashy player.

Cappello is just hard headed and trying to even put Zlatan in the same sentence as Van Basten is an insult to the sport itself. Cappello likes efficient forwards more then anything though, that's why he liked Trez so much at Juve and why he likes Nistelrooy so much at Real. And why players like Robinho suffer under him, also he will probably ruin Higuan and he probably won't get much playing time. Shame.

--------------------------------------------------------------- Milan duo chase CassanoThursday 11 January, 2007Milan and Inter are both ready to make a summer move for Antonio Cassano, according to the latest reports in Italy. The former Roma striker is set to leave Real Madrid and has been paired with Inter over the past few days, as confirmed by sporting director Predrag Mijatovic. Coach Roberto Mancini had recently stated that he would be happy to have the player on his team. However, club official Marco Branca denied that there had been contact to bring the Bari-born striker to the San Siro immediately, although it seems they might be planning a summer move. In the meantime Milan, who were one of the first Italian clubs to be paired with Cassano after his problems with Merengues’ Coach Fabio Capello, could join Inter in the race to sign him. The Rossoneri’s need to sign a new striker might have increased after Filippo Inzaghi’s declared that he might request a transfer if he felt he was no longer a first team player. The Milan Coach believes that he would be able to manage ‘Talentino’s’ intemperate outbursts and the club might soon make an offer for Cassano, who joined Real Madrid a year ago from Roma in a £3.5m deal. channel4.com---------------------------------------------------------------

What's with Cassano being a rebel?? People should think this over... what has he done?? At Roma he supported Capello and that could only mean he had an enemy in Francesco "The Godfather" Totti!! As a result he was given no play-time so he had to arch his back and you're calling him a brawler for that?? Also... he's been at Real for a year and I doubt he's featured in more than 5 games (10 min appearances do not count)...
Makes you think...

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jan 13 2007, 09:41 PM) He didn't participate, cuz he was way over weight .. I mean R9 look 110% fit next to Cassano .. they knew that when they bought him... still I can't see how that makes him a rebel. QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jan 13 2007, 09:41 PM) Still dst, though he has great technique and a class act, if Juve and Inter both snubbed him; what do u expect of Milan ? I never said I want him...

QUOTE (dst @ Jan 13 2007, 11:35 PM) they knew that when they bought him... still I can't see how that makes him a rebel. The problem with Cassano is that coaches don't know how to handle him. I'm sure that if he where given decent playing time at whatever club he played in he would behave. We all know that the supposed bust ups in Roma where created because of Totti and we also all know that at Roma, what Totti says goes. If Totti wanted Cassano out, then Cassano was going to be kicked out, simple as that
